Feels like a Beta version, poor animation, poor combat, poor character development. It really feels like they went out of their way to make it as bad as they could.
A clunky and sometimes buggy hack and slash with minor RPG upgrade elements. BUT THE DETAIL!!! All of the architecture is gothic and lore accurate, the ships are massive, and never once do you feel like you are in any other universe than 40K. If you loved the book, this is it in a decent game. It's a game made by a great fan for the fans where GW falls flat every year. You can't find it on steam, but somewhere in the 41st era of mankind, codes exist. Ask your fellow tech priests.
This garbage bluescreened my computer. Before that, I couldn't even see the bottom or top of the game window because there's no way to adjust it to the monitor. I've seen some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile ports, but this is by far the worst. No wonder they yanked it from the store.

A a confusing slog to get through. It's not really enjoyable. Only get this if your a hardcore Warhammer fan willing (or forced) to overlook the string of terrible games being released for the IP. Poor Combat Poor Sneaking Poor Animations In my short time of playing, there were some cool backdrops and ideas that hint at the larger lore of Warhammer but mostly just rare eye candy. I would assume a good story, seeing as its based off of a Dan Abnett book, though I can't say I made it far or that I am super familiar with his work charateristics. I'm more into Ciaphas Cain series. Games are supposed to be fun, so why punish yourself with this?
Looks, feels, and plays like a game from 20 years ago. Sparse, bland and clunky. I love the source material and 40K in general, and REALLY wanted to like this game, but it was painful to stick with even for an afternoon of play. Should have spent the time building and painting my Eisenhorn mini while listening to the audiobook instead... I own quite a few Warhammer titles with varying degrees of quality and entertainment value, but this is by far the worst.
This game plays really poorly, makes me sad. Wanted to get into it but couldn't.
I love the Eisenhorn story but it's just not a good game. Fair few glitches that required alt + F4 to crash exit. Poor graphics (in parts really really poor) and awkward controls. It's a mobile port that is about 4 hours longer than it needs to be.
I wanted to love this game, God only knows I wanted to love this game. I am a huge WH40K fan, as in, I have a sleeve of tattoos dedicated to the Emperor of mankind and my bookshelf makes me look like a Black Library rep. I wanted to love this game, but no matter my 40K devotion, I couldn’t. I know it’s a phone game port, but that excuse only takes you so far. The dialogue made me wish for hearing loss and the graphics remind me of some kind of early 2000 game that you would get in a cereal box. Also, calling your input "game play", is a liberal stretch at best. But the nail in the coffin was that this character, this jabroni, he is NOT Eisenhorn. This needed to be an action game, a story driven adventure, OR a stealth game. Instead, it attempts to be all 3 and fails 3 times. I had very low expectations for this, like Sharknado 3 expectations, but it failed even that ground level bar. I’m not sure why GW gives licenses to people who insist on punching fans in the soul, but it seems to be one of their few consistent actions.
I read the books by Dan Abnett first, then bought the game. I bounced off the gameplay, but played enough to appreciate the adherence to the source and feel of the 40k universe. If playthrough seems daunting to you: I also recommend a fan-made walkthrough of the cutscenes and core drama:- it works very well as a riveting machinma movie. https://youtu.be/200E4YYAwKc My thanks and congratulations to the artists and devs.
If you want a good 3rd person action adventure in 40k universe: Play Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine. If you want to learn the story of the game: Read the book the game is based on. As a fan of 40k and the surrounding lore, this game is just heresy. The only redeeming quality I got is some of the environments look okay. Everything else feels like it came from the games alpha build.
