Clever games curator review: 2/10. This is one of those puzzle games where each puzzle consists entirely of figuring out what arbitrary action the developer wanted you to perform for that level. Each level is a relatively small room. Even so, it needs (and offers) a built-in hint system, as the tasks can be somewhat obtuse. Worse, however, is the fact that some key objects seem to be incorrectly implemented and can just fall through the floor if you let go of them. In such a situation there is no option other than to restart the *entire game* from scratch. This lack of attention to detail can be seen throughout the game. There are no settings, not even invert look, and no controller support. There seems to be some kind of story, though it is told by relatively short walls of text between each level and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere particularly interesting. The only good thing is that for a Unity game it actually looks halfway decent. However, it doesn’t look so good as to even remotely overcome the downsides in gameplay. Look, I hate to dump on a person’s first game, and I usually just skip leaving a review when it’s clear that someone has worked hard on a project but hasn’t managed to make something that personally interests me. However, I think the failure here goes beyond personal interest into carelessness and poor design overall. While no doubt this was a lot of work to put together, It’s decidedly unfinished, unpolished, and not enjoyable to play in its current state.
