Mystery Box 5: Elements

The final part in always interesting solve-the box series that delivers the most challenging puzzles. Disclaimer: since all entries in this series more or less play and look the same way, and since I already reviewed one title before, most of the review can be used for all games. However, there are some distinct elements between each title. Your only tool is the mouse cursor, which is used for all interactions. The camera is focused on the box, so you may move it around by clicking and dragging, zooming in with a double click on one of the sides, and interacting with a left click. You'll be clicking on everything because nothing is marked or pointed out to you, and you never know what can happen. The majority of the time, you will need to take note of the numerous clues and utilize it on the appropriate puzzle. However, you might get lucky and solve a puzzle by clicking on something at random or brute-force a solution by just trying out all options. Puzzles typically contain many switches, knobs, levers, and other types of mechanical levers in addition to visual cues. You will hear something opening or another sound that indicates progress once you turn something to the proper position or click in the right order. The box is solved when the door inside the box’s room opens. You can use a hint if you get stuck. It doesn't provide the solution; it just points you in the proper direction. Since there are no repercussions from using hints, it might lessen the satisfaction you get from accomplishing everything on your own. The game has 10 elaborate boxes (including the tutorial) that take a lot to solve because they come with a lot of moving parts and unique look. Compared to previous titles, this one doesn’t have any collectibles within the boxes. However, if you solve all ten boxes, you’ll unlock a short puzzle where you have to enter a few letters by following several rules. Counting letters is a common theme, so it might be a good idea to write down letters and put numbers next to them.

You know when you need something you didn't think you'd actually need? This was it for me. Playing through the first levels I realized its value in providing mental stimulation. The traditional style of gameplay, which challenges the brain and promotes critical thinking, TRULY is a refreshing change. At a mere $2.99, this game offers an enjoyable experience that will leave you craving more.

Did not like at all comparing mystery box 5 with THE ROOM game series is outrageous contrary to THE ROOM , atmosphere is non existant, graphics and textures are ok at best and soundtrack is minimal. the far fetched low clue repetitive puzzles got quickly annoying for me So glad i did not buy the bundle low price .. low value this time... sorry

immer die gleichen sound, keine Möglichkeit die sound nur leiser zu machen Rätsel sind teilweise nicht logisch und die Hinweise verwirren noch mehr. ganz klar keine empfehlung meinerseits
