Budget puzzle game with some anime chicks. What more you can ask from life? Recycling is generally considered positive and useful. However, within the gaming sphere, people tend to be much less charitable towards such practices. The relevance of these words is clear concerning the title at hand. Once launched, the Efflorescence of Lust reveals the full scope of the dreary practice. Two modes greet your eyes when the play button is pressed: Jigsaw and Clicker. The Jigsaw mode offers seven stages of bare-bone picture completion. The number of pieces increases slightly as you make progress, but none of the stages require much time to deal with. To make things even more trivial, a complete picture looms in the right-top corner, showing players what they're aiming to achieve. For those who care about achievements, a time-limited completion challenge is available, but still very much optional since you can simply press the Clear button to earn all without any sweat off your back. Next, the Clicker mode, with one less stage than the other option, namely: six. Here you're tasked with clicking specified appearing objects. You have only a few seconds to respond or the target is gone. Additionally, clicking the wrong item announces your misdeed with a big X, and once three mistakes are made the show is over. This mode is more challenging as it demands quick response and precision. Additionally, for ambitious achievement hunters who don't just click Clear, a time limit is an option. That's all in terms of the gameplay content. Nothing innovative or elaborate can be found here. The minimal price reflect the amount of the content, but I still feel disappointed. I played simimlar budget puzzle titles that still offered something to enjoy, here I could barely find anything of worth. Overall, my day is immesurable and my disappointment ruined(or something :)). Now here comes the recycling bit. Here comes the startling realization, both modes contain reused art. The Puzzle mode contains art from the VN called Gazing from Beyond published by the translation offender SakuraGame. The Clicker mode art comes from another game by the same publisher: Landlord Girls, which is not available on Steam anymore. While I have no real complaints about the art itself, it's the shameless copy-paste (if legal) that irks me. Nowadays even low-budget puzzle ero games contain original art. I strongly suspect that simple laziness and/or theft happened here. Can't condone it. As for the audio side, I have neither flattery nor scorn to offer. Simple generic background tunes are all you expect from low-effort products, and this is precisely that. Can't recall any of the in-game tracks, which is both positive and negative, depending on your perspective. I kinda expected this so I'm ok with this aspect. Just ambivalent feeling left. No bugs were encountered. To conclude, this budget puzzle combination of jigsaws and clickers offers very simplistic gameplay and no originality. Copied art and generic music do little to increase the appeal of this title. I am more disappointed than expected(and I hold the bar low for such games) and honestly can't recommend it to others: 3.2/10
The art is ok, but the quality is average.
Yes.
сложные паззлы какие-то, но артики красивые
Not bad of a game love it it's what I like to say it makes you "hyper"
.
Buy it when it’s on discount or else not worth it. Easy achievements. You have a button "clear" for every levels if you wanna go fast. Nice art and animations. The english translation seems to be unfinished.
Efflorescence of Lust is a casual adult-themed puzzle game developed and published by Twilight Sonata Studio that combines straightforward gameplay with collectible anime-style artwork. Rather than attempting to deliver an expansive story or complex mechanics, it focuses on offering an easy-to-learn experience that players can enjoy in short sessions. Its design caters to those who appreciate relaxing gameplay loops and visual rewards, making it an accessible choice for fans of casual puzzle titles with mature content. The game embraces simplicity, presenting itself as an entertainment option where progression is driven by completing challenges and unlocking new illustrations instead of following an elaborate narrative. The gameplay revolves around two complementary mechanics. Players complete image-based puzzles while also participating in clicker-style segments that reward quick reactions and continuous interaction. These systems are intentionally uncomplicated, allowing newcomers to understand the controls almost immediately without needing lengthy tutorials or advanced strategies. The puzzle elements provide moments of concentration, while the clicker mechanics introduce a faster pace that keeps gameplay from becoming entirely static. This blend creates a steady rhythm that encourages players to return for another round without demanding a significant investment of time or skill. The game's biggest attraction is its gallery of anime-inspired artwork, which serves as the primary motivation for progressing through the available content. Each completed objective unlocks additional illustrations, giving players a tangible reward for their efforts. The visual presentation is colorful and polished, with character designs that appeal to fans of stylized anime aesthetics. Although the mature content is the central theme, the artwork is presented within a clean interface that keeps navigation simple and ensures players can focus on the gameplay without unnecessary distractions. Efflorescence of Lust also succeeds as a casual experience because it remains approachable from beginning to end. The lightweight mechanics make it suitable for quick gaming sessions, whether players have only a few minutes to spare or want a relaxing activity after a long day. Steam features such as achievements, trading cards, and cloud saves provide additional incentives for completionists and collectors, adding value beyond the core gameplay. These extras complement the overall experience by encouraging replayability, even if the main mechanics remain largely unchanged throughout the game. Despite its strengths, the game does have noticeable limitations. The puzzle and clicker systems offer only modest variety, meaning the gameplay can begin to feel repetitive after extended sessions. Players searching for a compelling story, strategic depth, or evolving mechanics may find that the experience runs out of surprises relatively quickly. Much of its long-term appeal depends on whether the player enjoys unlocking every piece of artwork and collecting Steam rewards, as there are few major gameplay innovations introduced over time. From a technical standpoint, the game performs reliably thanks to its modest scope and lightweight design. The controls are responsive, the interface is intuitive, and the overall presentation remains consistent throughout the experience. It does not attempt to overwhelm players with unnecessary complexity, instead delivering exactly the kind of casual entertainment it advertises. This straightforward approach makes it accessible to a broad range of PC users, particularly those who enjoy uncomplicated games that prioritize relaxation over challenge. Overall, Efflorescence of Lust accomplishes its objective of providing a simple blend of puzzle-solving, clicker gameplay, and anime-inspired adult artwork. While it lacks the depth and variety needed to satisfy players seeking a more substantial gaming experience, it succeeds within its niche by offering an enjoyable and accessible title that can be played at a comfortable pace. Fans of casual puzzle games and collectible gallery progression will likely appreciate what it offers, while those expecting a narrative-driven or mechanically rich adventure should keep their expectations modest.
