Eekeemoo is a 3D action platformer with puzzle elements. The game was developed by Cogg Games, and is their first entry into the gaming market. Eekeemoo follows the journey of a young Eskimo, tentatively named; Eeekeemoo, and his quest to free his friends from the evil Dark Shard. It's a short title that can be completed in under four hours. As the player traverses each stage of the game, new characters become playable and can be switched between during play. These characters have unique abilities that contribute to solving puzzles, breaching obstacles and even fending off boss creatures during game-play. -------- [b] Graphics: 7 / 10 [/b] The graphical assets of the game are actually quite nice. The unique art style gives the title a lot of charm despite being a bit basic. The character and terrains designs are interesting. Unfortunately the game's combat lacks some visual feedback aside from the main character and enemies glowing red upon taking damage. The game should run fine on any lower tier graphics card and CPU as it is not very demanding. -------- [b] Sound: 3 / 10 [/b] The sound assets are something left to be desired. There's no real soundtrack to the game aside from a few notes that play throughout each stage. These notes are very dull and become tiresome quickly. The remainder of the sound effects are very basic combat and environmental noises. -------- [b] Mechanics: 4 / 10 [/b] The game is a very basic platformer which some character switching mechanics. Throughout each stage the player will fight enemies and complete puzzles until the boss fight at the end. The player may switch between characters during play, with each character having different abilities that effect the terrain around them. This is important as many puzzles and obstacles can only be bypassed by using certain characters. That being said, the majority of these challenges are very simple along with the abilities used to solve them. The game is playable, but just barely. There is no real way to stop incoming damage from enemies. Mashing the attack button is the best way to defeat hoards of zombies and even some bosses. There is no strategy involved in the combat what so ever, and becomes boring rapidly. -------- [b] Final Personal Remarks: [/b] The game lacks a lot of polish and it's combat system is not as solid as I'd like. I really wanted to like the game as the art style was very appealing to me. It is a very short title, and looked like it had the potential to be a good puzzle platformer. The game was just not engaging enough. For my first impression of the game, I would say this is a very casual game. I am one to rage quite often but this was pretty fun to play. It is a classic hack and slash game which you embark on this adventure to save your friends! Below are my pros and cons of the game: Pros: - Fun, good way to pass time - Easy, does not induce great amounts of rage - It makes me look like I a gaming lord - Didn't encounter any bugs. Realmente decepcionante, No esperaba un GOTY, ni mucho menos, pero no taaaaaanto menos Está realmente roto, sinceramente me pensaba que estaba en EarlyAccess al primer vistazo del juego, pero viendo que no, no le puedo pasar la mano de ninguna manera, El juego es lento y los controles arcaicos y agobiantes, las animaciones van como a la mitad de velocidad de lo que deberian, A pesar de no ser un juego ni medianamente puntero graficamente, por algun motivo, no pasa de 45fps, cuando no está usando ni un 30% de mi GPU/CPU, eso si, 45fps como rocas, no se mueve de ahí, ni para arriba, ni para abajo, visualmente, bastante "Feo", al principio lo veia como que querian hacer algo Simple y centrarse mas en el movimiento y la parte de Accion/Aventura, pero para nada, Los movimientos y el sonido está desincronizados, los esquives y los saltos son lentos, al atacar no hay sensacion de contacto con los enemigos, o el entorno, por que tambien, los botones y los mismos enemigos, no reaccionan siempre a los ataque, y de la misma manera, unas veces atacan, y otras no, Está sobreexplotado de enemigos, no añade realmente la mas minima dificultad, pero molestan, están simplemente molestando y bloqueando el paso, y sus respawns son demasiado rapidos En fin, seria mas "Bueno" con el si fuera un early access, pero viendo que ya ha salido se supone que "Terminado", no puedo pasar de ninguna manera si esta es la vision que tienen del juego, decepcionante, sinceramente, Si estás pensando en comprarlo, a pesar de todo lo dicho, no mereceria la pena ni aun estando a 50 centimos. It didn't turn out to be quite as polished as I had first though but hey, you can't win them all right? It's still very promising and hopefully by the time it's fully released it'll *feel* like a much more complete game! One thing I loved about this, that sorta drew me to it, was the logo for the game - I admit it! And the cover art available for Eekeemoo is pretty fricken cool as well!

It kinda of gave me a Binding of Issac type vibe and you could mistake it as being part of the same developed team with it's unique creatures, locations and items. Plus it's cheap as chips!
