About
EchoLink: Recursion is an active incremental, cyberpunk hacking simulation where every breach makes you stronger, and every reset makes you faster.
You're a hacker sent back through time to uncover a conspiracy that keeps collapsing history. You start in the 1990s with just a dial-up modem, a terminal, and your wits before you advance to the neural megacities of 2150.
At the beginning, you do everything manually. Crack networks one keystroke at a time, run missions, scrape together enough creds for your first real upgrade. Then your second. Then a script that handles tasks for you. Then a crew running side jobs with you. Then an AI automating your hacking skills.
When stealth doesn't cut it, you go loud. Deploy devastating neural viruses, build proxy chains, and automate your entire operation while enemy factions deploy their own viruses and ice sentinels to hunt you down. Watch a hostile network just… stop existing.
When the timeline finally collapses (and it will), you keep what you learned. A meta-progression tree with hundreds of nodes means every reset peels off a new layer. By the end you're not really hacking systems anymore—you're hacking time itself.

Loved the demo, love the full game, the intricacies of the story, will update as I dig more into the full game!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, man! For all thegood gameplay ideas and all the engagement I got from the game, all of it basically evaporates every time I encounter another bug! This freaking buggy mess of a game, man - only because the dev haven't even played his game from start to finish at least once to catch them. There is a reason softaware development cycle has quality assuranse step! I don't care how many neural nets you deply to vibecode your stuff, one, a dozen, or none at all - but can you at least check that code works as intended? Mother loving damn piece of awfullness! I haven't been so frustrated in a long time! Go fix your pile of scrap code!

Rougelite Uplink. Quick games at first, but buffs unlock quickly which enable you to last longer in-game. Fun!
A bit more arcade-like "hacking" game than the classic Uplink from Introversion, but it brings a bit of that nostalgic feeling, with a modern UI and some interesting challenges and variations. Runs perfectly smoothly as well. I have found it very very easy to get lost in a run and it certainly has that "just going to do one more..." feeling, and then it is 3:30 AM and you have to get up in five hours. One of the best choices I made recently getting it.
Отличная игра мне понравилось!
good game, feels like a cyberdeck hacker. run in get the goods get out or die trying. Losing is fun in this game.
Fun game, bit rough at the beginning because things are happening quickly and there's not a lot of time to read. It kind of feels like you just woke up from a nap and someone hands you a wrench and says, "we have to stop this nuclear reactor from melting down." I like that new mechanics are introduced progressively and it feels rewarding to discover and master them. Some mechanics however are not explained well at all. Like I have no idea what "1.3 mission gain means" after winning the game. I also have no idea what 0.8 ICE means. Does it mean I'm stronger or weaker? Am I taking less damage from sentinels? I have no idea and that's ok I guess. A little bit longer in the oven and this game will be fully baked. It looks like the dev is working on updates though so that's encouraging. Hopefully in a few months I can come back and revisit this game as a fully streamlined experience.
Very guod game!
Good game. The main difficulty is the parameter descriptions and codex texts I’ve played about 15 runs and still don’t understand what half the parameters mean.
