I have to admit that I like the idea of this game more than the game itself. It's a nice defense game with towers, but where you also get to play your part in the fight. The economic side makes you choose between either boosting your survivability or actually contributing to the goal. The graphics look good (except for a few glitches with the shading) and the enemies and turrets animations are quite nicely done. Overall, it looks good. The problem is that even if it's content is completed, it's definitely not polished. Even though I play strategy games (including tower defense) and I have some experience with VR shooters, I had to switch to casual because I was losing a lot. Worst part is, I didn't even see much of a difference. On a few occasions the game even failed to register that the wave has ended, forcing me to restart. Primary weapon's sniper mode seems pretty pointless - if I hold the gun close enough to my face to see anything in the visor, my controllers lose sync with the base stations and the gun starts to shake so much it's useless. Talking about useless - sniper tower might as well be a wall. It seems to have the same range as the rest of the towers, it misses just as often, but the shooting speed is abyssymal and the damage doesn't make up for it at all. As for the menu, it looks to me like it was designed by a left-handed person. Even though in a right-hand mode you hold the menu with your left hand and click with your right hand, all the primary buttons are still on the far left side, so you have to cross your arms constantly. The menu transitions take 3 seconds just to show the animation, then another second to start being interactive. Considering that most useful info and functions are hidden in the submenus, it becomes a problem quite fast. Because of that, I spent 25% of the time just standing with my arms crossed like I'm asking to be handcuffed, waiting for the game to finish showing off and let me continue. Another problem is the battle interface, which is stretched so wide that all the important info (that happens to be placed at the far sides) moves out of my field of view. Still, it is something worth trying out. If the devs fix the bugs and the interface, maybe rebalance the game a little, I'm sure I'll play it a lot more.
Way too buggy. 75% of the time you finish a wave, it freezes. The game crashes repeatedly. meaning expect about 3 - 4 restarts per hour. Also, slow to 10fps for chunks of time on my 3090 10900k system.
A nice simple shooter game. It does sometimes glitch but for less than $10, it is not bad at all. Would be nice if they would add updates or create a new shooter like this.
As far as wave shooter go, this game is really fun.
Není to špatný,jen by to chtělo více zbraní v ruce.
