The romance routes are very straight forward; there are little choices here, and you mostly just choose to spend time with the girl you’re pursuing. The game has partial VA, the story is cute and the characters are cute as well. My favorite girl is Rin, even if she’s the bratty kind. ♥ The R18 patch is available for free on the discussion board, and it’s worth it. If you enjoy yuri (girl x girl), I recommend checking out this title. 7/10. It’s a bit expensive in my opinion, so waiting for a sale might be a good idea.
This game is probably not for you if:
1. You want a long 8+ hour game with lots of content for each character. Overall, the game with all of the routes took me about six to seven hours to complete. I am a fairly average reader who listens to all the voice-acting, so based on your reading speed and playing style the game could be this long or could be much shorter for you. I must emphasize that each character's route is, in actuality, extremely short.
Almost immediately after starting to date, the route would end.
However, for the price of the game, it seems only natural and understandable. 2. You want a visual novel that will truly be affected by the choices you make. The only real choices you can make in this game is which girl you want,
which is very straightforward as you just, quite literally, select the desired girl. Other than that, there is only one other choice that is very insignificant and I'm sure doesn't change anything except for one or two lines. Once you choose a girl, there's nothing you can do to change the outcome from then on
. Unlike other choice-dependent visual novels, there are no normal or bad routes that can be attained through your choices, only a good one. 3. You are uncomfortable with homophobia themes. This game does not condone homophobia in any way; however, it is a main topic in the story. If just reading about the topic is harmful to you, you might not want to pick up the game. 4. You want an equally romantic and erotic game between two women alike. The proportion for explicit scenes and romantic scenes definitely leans toward the former. The sexual intercourse is fairly immediate
after choosing a girl
. There are quite a lot of sexual scenes, about
three to five
for each character, and about
one to two
really romantic scenes. The romance is very fast-paced and immediate. If you're looking for a primarily romantic game with some sexual scenes on the side, this is not the game for you. 5. You want a game with a mature art style. The art style in the game is very cutesy. All of the girls look very young and cute, although none are minors. However, if you're into cute and adorable art styles, then you would probably enjoy the style.
This game probably is for you if:
1. You want a visual novel with various character routes. While there are barely any choices besides character selection, there are
three
characters to choose from that each have stories of their own and a variation of romances, as well as their own CGs (special full-screen images). There are about
four to five
CGs for each character; they are very nicely drawn and portray skill. 2. You want a game with a good storyline. The game starts with a strong storyline and a story for the main character, as well as for the rest of the girls. They do not go more into depth with their storylines, but nonetheless it can be a very interesting read. 3. You want an erotic lesbian game with explicit images. There are about
nine
sexual CGs in the game, although you would have to download the patch to fully obtain them. They are very nicely drawn and the writing and dialogue is fairly great, too.
Other Points
The voice-acting in the game is overall mediocre at best.
I found Kyoko's voice-acting to be pretty good quality, while Rin and Megumi's sounded satisfactory most of the time and sometimes just poor in quality.
Similarly, the soundtrack is average and consistent with the scenes. In addition, the game is very easy to navigate; one is able to add or remove the voice-acting, as well as control its volume and the volume of the background music. You can put the game on auto-mode and adjust how quickly the text shows up. You can press the key "h" to hide the text window and fully observe the image being portrayed; this pertains to many other visual novels on Steam, I've found. I should also mention that there is no option to view the CGs you have seen for each character unless you're in-game and in the scene that it pertains to. I was surprised that there was no option in the main menu titled "Gallery" or something of the like. So, if you want to keep or review the images, you'll have to take a screenshot in-game.
Opinions
Most of everything under this subtitle is pure spoilers pertaining to the story and is not objective. I, personally, prefer mature art styles so I was not sure if I should purchase the game, but the cutesy art here really can make me smile from how warm and cute it is.
Notably, Megumi's wide smile is enough to make my day! Her design is so adorable and attractive at the same time! Rin's design is a bit too cutesy and young for me, but Kyoko's is fairly mature looking and very attractive!
I really enjoyed the storyline quite a lot,
but I was very disappointed when I finished Megumi's route so quickly, as the romance was only really starting to bloom between her and Yume. It would have been nice if Megumi brought Yume to her studio and read out some of the lyrics to her songs, and if we could learn more about her creative side with music; the same goes for the other characters. In addition to that, it would've been nice to know how their manga turned out in the end, successfully-wise. There was never a feeling of closure to their stories. Also, the "plot twist" of Koyomi actually being Kyoko all along was fairly obvious, but it was pretty humorous
. The game rarely moved me emotionally; however, there is one scene that is very memorable to me and I hold dear to my heart.
The scene where Kyoko is outside of Yume's house soaking wet from the rain, wearing a wedding dress from her failed marriage, crying, and yelling that "I said no for you, Yume, because I love you!". It really almost brought me to tears. The kiss afterward made me smile widely and really showed how much love Kyoko has for Yume. It really moved me and has a place in my heart; I absolutely love the concept of disregarding all else for the sake of love. Kyoko is definitely my favorite girl and route!

Conclusion
I am looking forward to any upcoming bonus content, as long as there's some romance and cuteness.
I really hope the slumber party bonus has not been scrapped, so I will continue waiting for it!
I can't say that the game is one of my favorites, and quite honestly I would not have liked it much at all if not for the
Kyoko in a wedding dress
scene. Although the game was fairly short and had its downs, I do not regret buying it. It is not really a high quality game with an intricate storyline and romances, but overall it is worth the price. I give this game 2.5 stars out of five.
I enjoyed this game. I backed it on Kimochi (I think that's what it was) because I play A Wild Cat Girl Appears, and so I got a pre-release version. I put another 2 hours into that verson, and then played it all over again lol. Pros: -Free H-patch -Different types of girls -Voice Acting (Some issues, but I honestly appreciate that NWG tried and did pretty well with it) -The dialogue is campy and funny, and it made me laugh a lot -I love the music, and I think it sets the mood of a scene well -A variety of tastes and experiences are explored in the sex scenes. It doesn't get very extreme, but it does touch a few different topics, and it feels pretty fitting with the story. Cons: -The choice of girls gets settled kind of suddenly and it doesn't feel like I got to actually choose. -There are no transitions between scenes, and it really feels rough. Like I am getting ripped out of the mood, and I have no time to recover or process the scene itself. This is my biggest complaint; it just needs some easy transitions that show the passage of time, or just something to look at while the music changes between scenes. -The music just changes suddenly as well, and it also makes the lack of any real transitions very stark -There are some issues with frames in the sex scenes, and the breasts have a bit of inconsistency between frames, but mostly I found the scenes pretty satisfying anyway. -The voice acting feels forced at some points, and it's only Kyoko. It's not bad, and the sex scenes feel pretty okay, but after my first time playing through with her, I turned the voice acting off. This is an H-game, and if you like that and/or Yuri VNs, I recommend it. It's definitely not perfect, but it made me smile. I look forward to the next NWG game.
Ecchi Sketch: Draw Cute Girls Every Day! is one of the most successful games developed and published by NewWestGames, and a continuous mark on its specific aimed audience, with a girl on girl Visual Novel. We take the role of Yume, a young woman whose heart desires an artistic career, involving design and drawing manga, with deep romantic ties and sexy hand drawn lines across beautifully shaped bodies. But what does she get instead? Designing generic funeral pamphlets and other work-related material, that, it’s slowly eating her soul. Living with her father, and only with one real friend that she met online years ago, her life seems a never ending routine of train trips between her job and the Otaku’s heart; Akihabara, searching for mangas, while gathering inspirations for future drawings. Sudden changes happen when her boss decided to lay off some employees, and a new opportunity arises for Yume, Her artistic career will finally glow, and her dreams will no longer be sketches, but full pages of an erotic manga, praised by her new co-work colleagues and boss. What other opportunities may arise among such hot and seductive environment? Ecchi Sketch: Draw Cute Girls Every Day! delivers a medium-length visual novel, with choices that determinate the final ending. The narrative dives in the life changing events of our protagonist, while she tries to break for an opportunity to work as a manga artist. The game has clearly an adult vision, and it avoids empty vague fillers, but still builds a main character will sense of feelings. There are 3 possible dating routes to choose, and each gives a very distinct taste of personality. Decisions appear midway through the game, and it’s entirely clear what they are intended for, as players don’t choose answars or text based choices, instead, one chooses whom they want to interact, and therefore spend time with. Spending way too much time with one character will most likely make things go down her route, and since there aren’t many options, it’s pretty straight forward. Dialogues are well written, with interesting elements, providing a good and simple read. Since it’s an adult oriented game, expect some high quality teasing, sexy puns and other sexual events. Each of the three possible dates have their own kinks and sexual preferences, so it’s pleasant to see a large amount of variation even within such a small plot. The story development is more sex-oriented, so it’s less of a romantic development, such as seen in games like Sweet Volley High. Some feelings are described and portrayed, particularly for the Main Character. As said, this is a full Yuri Visual Novel, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise. But in case you haven’t read the first paragraph, it’s a Girl on Girl themed game. This theme is portrayed in the narrative as characters struggle slightly with some morality from society/family, but it shouldn’t come as a drama. Visually, the game direction is on par with other NewWestGames releases. A western approach for renders, depicting well drawn characters, usually with good details, and the occasional Chibi when humour strikes. It’s clearly a very distinct art choice of the studio, that has an Anime vibe, but still far from that specific art style. The backgrounds are very minimalist with simple designs, and some were re-used from old titles such as Sweet Volley High. It’s not a negative aspect, but it’s a crossed artistic choice. Some areas such as Yume’s room have a basic hand drawn style, while others, such as the office, maintain the hand drawn, but with extreme detail and light works. Overall, the game has a nice setting, and having different artists or styles did not affect the visual art at all. An adult patch is available of course, that can be downloaded through the official NewWestGames website. This new content adds nudity and complete new scenes with explicit sexual content. It’s by far the best adult reference seen by the studio so far, with top quality scenes, amazing erotic contextual narratives, and high quality immersive dialogues. Definitely one of the strong points of the game, which is appealing to see such dedication to an extra patch, delivered for free. Partially voiced-over, with pleasant voices, the soundtrack is generic and provides a good ambience to the whole game, but with little substance to be considered remotely a reason to buy the game. Instead, it’s a good simple synthetic up-beat electronic/smooth piano based tune, that suits well with the narrative. It’s not my personal favorite from NewWestGames, but it’s understandable one of the most well developed adult games in the studio's catalogue, which might reflect on each individual preference. With a good narrative structure, Ecchi Sketch: Draw Cute Girls Every Day! may be a great game for Yuri fans, or anyone else who enjoys a simple but fun Visual Novel.
Ecchi Sketch is a Nukige with 3 different Female Love Interests and since you play as one as well it is a Yuri Game. There are quite a few Sex Scenes, but they arent really "animated" as most of them are just one CG that at most Changes a little. The Art is cute though and the Partial Voice Acting as only some Lines are voiced is also at least a nice extra. The Story itself is nothing extra crazy or interesting, but I liked the Characters and the Writing was good enough that I enjoyed it overall. I especially liked Rin since she is just super adorable. Overall the Game is probably between 3 to 4 hours long and I feel like it will be enjoybale for most of you, especially if you like Yuri Games in General. In the End, I recommend it even though it is nothing really special it was cute and decent enough to give me a few smiles and leave me with a positive overall experience. Since this Game has been in Bundles before you can get it rather cheap, so I would recommend buying it on other Sites. If you however want to support the Developer a bit more then just buy it on Steam in a Sale and it will still be worth your Money. Small Edit: After I played all the Routes I have to say that Kyokos was by far the best and I really liked it so I increased the Overall Score a little bit. Score: 7.7/10 Check out my Currator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34401214/ for more Reviews :)
A short Visual novel game. short story. 3 girl choices. cool clothes. 3 endings. options menu is alright. relaxing music. price is in offer alright. all achievements work.
I could not get interested in this game for the life of me. I love reading yuri VNs and I thought the plot was an interesting concept by it's own and thought to get it. I find it hard to get invested in any of the characters as well. I may replay it one day, but I just simply can't recommend it this time around.
This is my favourite game I own
No bubs... No sketching... Just lies.
