Retro 16-bit graphics that look decent, and a platform experience that emphasizes challenge and hard difficulty. Does not work well in ultrawidescreen monitors, even if windowed, as the game cuts off the top and bottom part of the screen, and making thus the game unplayable in most situations. Terrible controls, and even worse UI, restarting on death - which will occur a lot - requires manually clicking on a restart button. Music is the same track looping over and over, and gets tedious extremely quickly. The game is definitely not worth its full asking price. At a steep discount or for free, could be passable, but there are plenty of better alternatives in the Steam Store. 4/10
Very, Very, Hard game, I find myself having mixed feelings about this game. On one hand, the game can be very challenging and requires a lot of strategic thinking to progress through the levels. The game mechanics are also interesting and keep you engaged with its fast-paced action. However, there are some downsides to the game as well. For starters, the difficulty level can be frustratingly high, and it may take multiple attempts to succeed at a particular stage. This may turn off some players who are looking for more casual gameplay. Additionally, the game's graphics and sound effects are not particularly impressive, which may be a letdown for players who prefer games with more polished visuals and sounds. That being said, the game does have some redeeming qualities. The game's skilled-based nature makes it all the more satisfying when you finally succeed, and the game modes offer a variety of different gameplay experiences to explore. Overall, Dynamic Very, Very, Hard game is a decent game that is worth giving a try if you're looking for a challenge. However, the game's high difficulty level and lackluster graphics may not be suitable for everyone's taste.
You get what you pay for with this one. For a game priced at 70 cents, I didn’t expect much, but even then, it's disappointing. The gameplay feels shallow, and the level design lacks any real logic or purpose. It feels like the developers threw random elements together without much thought. Overall, it's hard to find any redeeming qualities.

Dynamic Very, Very, Hard game!! is an unapologetically punishing indie experience that builds its entire identity around difficulty, unpredictability, and a kind of mischievous design philosophy that seems intent on testing the player’s patience as much as their skill. Developed by White Dog Games and published by SA Industry, it doesn’t attempt to ease players into its mechanics or offer a gradual learning curve. Instead, it throws them directly into a cycle of failure and repetition, where progress is measured not in steady advancement but in small, hard-earned breakthroughs. The structure is deceptively simple. At a glance, the objective in each segment appears straightforward—navigate hazards, avoid traps, and reach the end of a section—but the way these elements are arranged transforms even basic tasks into significant challenges. The game thrives on timing, precision, and pattern recognition, often requiring players to memorize sequences of obstacles through repeated attempts. What makes it particularly distinctive is its tendency to subvert expectations, introducing sudden changes or hidden dangers that catch players off guard. This unpredictability becomes a defining trait, forcing players to remain cautious even when they think they understand the path ahead. The gameplay loop revolves almost entirely around repetition. Failure is frequent and often immediate, with some sections designed to be completed only after multiple attempts. Each retry offers a chance to internalize patterns and refine execution, creating a sense of incremental improvement. For players who enjoy this kind of challenge, the process can be deeply satisfying, as overcoming a difficult section feels genuinely earned. However, the same loop can also feel exhausting, especially when progress is repeatedly reset and the margin for error remains extremely narrow. Mechanically, the game keeps things simple, relying on basic movement and interaction systems that are easy to grasp but difficult to master. The controls are generally responsive, which is crucial for a game that demands precise timing. The challenge comes not from complex inputs, but from how those inputs must be executed under pressure. That said, there are moments where the difficulty can feel inconsistent, with certain obstacles appearing more arbitrary than intentional. When failures seem tied to unclear feedback rather than player error, the experience can shift from challenging to frustrating. Visually, the game adopts a minimalistic approach that prioritizes function over style. Environments are straightforward and designed primarily to highlight hazards and pathways clearly, ensuring that players can quickly understand what they’re dealing with. While this clarity is important for gameplay, it also means that the game lacks visual variety or a strong aesthetic identity. The audio design follows a similar pattern, offering basic sound effects and understated music that support the action without drawing attention to themselves. One of the defining aspects of Dynamic Very, Very, Hard game!! is its refusal to compromise. There are no meaningful difficulty adjustments, no extensive tutorials, and little in the way of guidance. Players are expected to learn through experience, often by failing repeatedly until they understand the mechanics and patterns at play. This design choice makes the game inherently niche, appealing primarily to those who actively seek out high-difficulty experiences and enjoy the process of overcoming seemingly unfair challenges. Replay value is closely tied to mastery. Once players become familiar with the patterns and mechanics, earlier sections can be completed more efficiently, offering a sense of progression that goes beyond simple completion. However, outside of improving performance or challenging oneself to achieve cleaner runs, there is limited additional content to explore. The game’s longevity depends largely on the player’s willingness to engage with its core loop repeatedly. In the end, Dynamic Very, Very, Hard game!! is a focused and uncompromising take on the “rage game” formula. It doesn’t aim to be broadly appealing or accessible, but instead delivers a specific kind of experience built around persistence and resilience. For players who thrive on difficulty and enjoy pushing through repeated setbacks, it offers moments of genuine satisfaction. For others, its relentless challenge and minimal concessions may prove more frustrating than rewarding. Rating: 5/10
