About
30 years ago a logo started bouncing.
Now it must learn how to fight!
DVD Screensaver 2 is a survivors style auto-battler homage to the most iconic screensaver ever made. No movement input. No aiming. Just upgrades, escalating waves of screen burn-in, and the question that has haunted humanity since 1996:
Will it hit the corner?
Stack color-activated weapons, pile on upgrades until the screen tears, and transform a nostalgic logo into something genuinely unstoppable. Every run bounces further. Every wave hits harder. Pray you choose the right upgrades.
Play actively, or enable full Auto-Mode and let it run forever in the background. The game can even be installed as an actual screensaver on machines running Windows*!

This game is an absolute blast! It's the perfect chill game where you just can't help but play "one more round." 10/10, would highly recommend.
I'm having a lot of fun with it! Hypnotising to watch, just like the original DVD screensaver. Also highly addictive - just one more time, I think - and suddenly an hour has passed, even though a run only lasts a few minutes. I don't feel like I have much control over my build, but it doesn't bother me much. The fun of it is just to see what happens. It's even really charming to just watch the DVD play all by itself in auto mode. I also really like the pixel art and the music and all the little references to the history of the DVD. Pirates, and tooth paste <3 All, in all: A charming and silly little game! Well worth its humble price I think. I was lucky enough to get a free key from the devs, but I would have bought it if I could. I recommend checking out the demo at dvdscreensaver2.com if you're unsure about buying it. I also recommend watching this on a screen together with other people - the shouting when the DVD hits the corner is priceless!
Really fun and addictive!
The best screensaver I've ever bought! Also; the game is truly funny and addictive
The game is fun, chill and nice! But my biggest issue is the scaling of the enemies. I understand that the point is to let it ride, choose upgrades, see how far you can go, but the enemy scaling is just too insane. I have only defeated the secound boss a single time. Heck, i have actually only reached the secound boss a single time. Not sure if im just very very bad at the game, but seeing that the dvd barely reaches the first boss on autoplay.. i think they may be scaling too much. Sometime i feel like i am having a very itneresting build with color focus, just to die to the enemies after first floor. I prioritize weapons early, but then you loose scaling (healing, xp on bounce) I choose those instead for better scaling and sustain, but die to not being able to kill anything. Fun game! Reccomend! But would love some tweaks, as its fun to see the game go crazy while working on other stuff instead of getting very close to something fun and then die.
Silly, fun and relaxing
Chill 3rd monitor game to just keep running. And fun to build broken builds!
And here I was, thinking that my screen could not be saved. Relieved to see that the sequel lived up to the original!
Very silly, but very fun. It's more exciting than it has any right to be.
