About
DuoQ is an e-dating sim about romancing another person in an online game. Play alongside Tala, a mysterious stranger met in the fictional FPS game To the Heart. With Tala at your side, you'll solve co-op challenges, learn about her IRL life, and answer the question: is she into you?
Talk with Tala using your real voice, with open ended conversations, a rich narrative to uncover, and plenty of flirting to do!
Overcome multiplayer-like challenges and puzzles, fully playable in single player
Discover collectibles, secrets, and multiple distinct endings
Nope! DuoQ uses voice recognition to track your conversation with Tala, allowing for real time conversations and history. Tala isn't a real person, but using these new technologies, we can tell a new kind of story through the structure of a multiplayer game.
Plus, nothing in DuoQ is AI Generated. We use machine learning to advance the conversation, but we don't use AI to generate voice lines, art, or the story itself. This is a handcrafted game and a labor of love from our team - enjoy!

Its just like playing duos with a real "gamer girl", she pretends to know whats going on, and doesnt understand half the things you say. So realistic.
It's a terrible game with even worse execution. Everything is incredibly buggy, you might have to play same levels multiple times, characters can glitch/block/stop moving without any reason. Tala tries to be "funny" and "gamer-like" which results in a cringe non-fun glimpse of a story, not worth your time, wouldn't play again.

Finally my friend list is full 1/1
Spent 30 of the 37 minutes I played trying to get the AI to do anything at all. Didn't listen, and manual responses broke when trying to scale the 3 pillars at the fountain.
This game is pretty broken. She really only responds to the set options, not to real conversations, and the actual controls don't work. I got to the section where you have to tell her to stand on specific colored plates and she wavered between not listening to me and not STAYING ON THE PLATES when she did. Frustrating and not worth it, even if it's free
It's a nice, fun, and short game about chatting with a teammate and solving puzzles It's nothing groundbreaking, the ability to speak to the other character is honestly pretty neat and novel, and it would be amazing to see more games doing this, but the limited dialogue alongside mediocre writing and the voice actress kind of brings this all down a bit much, it feels too fabricated It feels like a small tech demo for a lot more to come, so give it a shot!
Cool concept but the game wouldn't respond to my mic or anything typed in chat. The AI partner also stopped responding to my dialogue choices at the pillar puzzle which makes it impossible to progress - all stuff that other people have mentioned. Definitely would've been a Recommended if it wasn't just broken. Sadge.
Fun concept, but flawed execution. I would like to see a more developed game with the same premise, the bones are there and they're good. Still, it was fun.
