Dunk It (VR Basketball)

You've got rocket hands and you pick up a ball and fly to the net and dunk, it's another first time unity project and it's ♥♥♥♥. Just more Bundle filler and honestly at 89 cents its a rip off just go download some of the free VR games that are so much better than this crap.

The way of moving strongly made VR sick. and It was hard to go get Ball and I could not proceed to enjoy the game.

So I wasn't expecting much for $.49 and my very low expectations were met. I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers and there were no issues. My main complaint is the button mapping or Touch configuration. You have to press down on the joystick to initiate thrusters (always a bad choice) and worse than that, your hands are tilted the wrong way so that to thrust forward and up in the air, you have to contort your hands so that you're going the right direction. I must admit that it is fun to launch behind the backcourt and thrust up in the air all the way to dunk the basketball. Michael Jordan dunking the ball from the free throw line seems rather pedestrian after this glorious stunt. I imagine this is how basketball will be played in the future. Somebody invent personal jetpacks ASAP! The shooting is rather awful in this game. Even shooting in the lobby in REC ROOM is better than in this game. So this basketball game probably has the worst shooting mechanics of any game ever made. The dribbling is almost as bad. But we're here to dunk. You don't really need a roomscale setup. You can spawn the ball to your hand (press B on the Touch controller). Then just initiate thrusters in either hand or both for maximum effect. But other than trying trick dunks and enjoying thrusting up in the air, there isn't much to do. Luckily, it is fun to try trick dunks. Rate 5/10 Sale Price of $.49 deserves a 5 out of 10 (dev needs to fix the Touch configuration so that the difficulty isn't in the way the thrusters are aligned to make it a 6 or higher)

Sencillo y original juego basado en el baloncesto, pero... volando propulsados por cohetes en las manos. Una original forma de moverse por el espacio virtual sin la limitación de nuestra habitación física. Es mucho más difícil de controlar de lo que parece. Al que le guste aprender a controlar la pelota para hacer todo tipo de acrobacias le encantará, al resto le será curioso por un rato y luego le cansará. Me mereció la pena por lo original, pero no es de los que vaya a dedicar mucho tiempo.

I cant even get this game started. I guess you are suppose to put the ball in a net that represents what mode you want to play in, but the problem is that it puts the ball on the floor outside my room scale dimensions so I cant grab the ball. I backed up as far in my room as I could and restarted the game but it still puts the ball outside my room.....this is bad when you cant even get the game started. Don't waste your time on this game!

アイアンマンのような華麗な飛行から、決めろ吐瀉物！！ すごく酔います。 移動方法は「手を向けた方向と逆側に推進力を得るバーニア」のみであり、 現実感のない浮遊が、実際の体の状態との違和感を生み出します。 飛び上がる時と着地時に、現実との摩擦が強く発生するため、 一際強く三半規管へのダメージが発生し、エチケット袋と友達になれる気がします。 バスケットボールをつかむ方法も感覚的ではなく、 「つかむボタン」と「離すボタン」が別々に設定されています。 ここに関しては間違いなく「トリガーボタンのオン・オフ」にしておくべきだったと感じます。 ステージそのものも宇宙空間に野ざらしのコートのみと味気なく、 BGMのなるタイミングもいまいちわからない作品です。 ただ、着眼点自体は悪くないとは思うんです。 こういうバカゲーはいいものです。 三半規管いじめでなければね！！！！！

This is a cute game with a cool idea but it poorly carried out. FIrst off on the time trial one of the sides of the map shows all of the code for the level... so it ruins the immersion. Terrible physics. But it is a cute game and it is cheap so if your just looking to play around this is a cute game but there are muuuuuuch better games out there.

Tried it because the gravity aspect seemed like a neat idea. Not enough polish to really tell what's going on in that regard, but hope the dev keeps working on it.
