I also played on itch.io . Great little roglike. The art and music are very good
Games like this make me really wish that steam had a middle option. Overall the game is good. I enjoyed the game, I will put more time in the game but I feel its only fair to point out its short comings. The Good The game is fairly simple, this might seem like a bad thing but not every game should require you to pull out a spread sheet. The overall flow of the game is great, balance looking for treasure with how many fights you can reasonably take. The standard roguelike of greed as much as you can so you can beat the boss. The characters (I've unlocked all but two) all play fairly differently from one another. Each character feels unique and how they approach the challenges of the game are fairly different. The knight really wants to stack armor and mana regen to spam out his spell. The barbarian needs regen to fund his thorns mechanic. Each character has their own play style and it makes the game refreshing for it. The overall style and design of the game looks great. It has its own distinct style and overall I really enjoy it. The Bad The unlock/upgrade system is horrible. When you first start out the game its almost impossible to win. You can beat the first boss but then the enemies start scaling too much for you to really put up a fight. But once you full upgrade all the weapons/gold/armor the game becomes pretty laughably easy. It gets to the point that its genuinely difficult to lose to the first or even second boss. The sword starts at 3 damage which is fine for early enemies not great for mid game enemies. But once you full upgrade weapons it becomes 6 damage which is good enough for the first 20 out of 30 floors of the game. The upgrade system really trivializes the early/mid game. Adding to the above the upgrade system is also equally terrible. There are a lot more unlocks then starting relics/cards but this leads to another issue. Many relics and cards are entirely useless. Unlocking a lot of these just dilutes the pool of useful relics/items. Having unlocks is cool but if half of them are entirely worthless all ive done is make the game worse for myself by unlocking them As stated earlier the game feels extremely easy once you upgrade all the base items. This would be okay if there were difficulty modes or an ascensions system but no. there is only base difficulty. So once you beat the game with a character 3-5 times there isn't much incentive to play that character again. So while I'm improving as a player and unlocking/upgrading more things the game doesn't scale with me. The game stays as simple as it is since your first run and for a rougelike this is one of the worst things you can have. Replayability is the name of the game but for this game there isn't much reason to play again. Having an endless mode or ascension would do a lot to fix this. Overall the game is fun. I like it but understand that as it stands the game is fairly easy and very simple

It’s challenging at first, but it gets easier and more interesting with each new run.
J'aime bien
Отличная игра с уникальной механикой! Обожаю карточные игры и данная игра пополнит мою коллекцию отличных карточных игр!
I played this on itch.io. Glad to see the full game is finally out!
Haven't played very long, but the game is very enjoyable. I played the original version on itch, and the game is just as fun here. Quick runs, satisfying visuals.
