EDIT: They banned me from the game's community permanently for this review. LULZ It's Gameloft, period. It's the same greedy IAP hell as their other games on mobile. The same F2P+P2W model, loot boxes, 99.99USD IAP. Gameloft didn't even bother optimizing the game's graphics for PC and looks like an utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I totally bought my RTX 2080Ti for this game. In short, I find these two screenshots accurately reflects the nature of this game, except only the first loot box is free, plus you have this stamina thing to prevent you from grinding this game: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1595534708 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1595534585 The combat feels like you are hitting ice cubes and provide absolutely no feedback for your hits. The textures are blurry as hell. To be honest, the only reason you should even consider this game is that you are using a potato PC that only has an outdated integrated GPU. And if this is the case, the cost you will be spending on this game for those greedy IAPs is probably more than enough to buy a decent GPU. 0/10 Avoid at all cost
cons: - stamina system - lots of crashes - referralls / login rewards / event system - pay to win This game isn't designed to be a fun game. It's goal is to get you hooked and spend $$. don't play

Fun game plagued by the usual mobile game market stuff - stamina system, microtransactions etc. Whatever you do, no matter how fun it is, don't spend money on it, you'll thank me later.
so i saw the free loot for twitch prime and decided to give the game a chance. they gave 1 free summon worth of gems. 1. to get their game on twitch they went with the literal MINIMUM. i ignored it and played on. i have no idea how to actually freely train my champs..because now i hit a wall on normal mode in stage 3 already. so i did raids which are easy enough but it doesnt level you up all that much. then i went to the pvp 5v5. i was like ooo a league/dota-esk game.. nah its complete p2w trash. all the people who have high level champs dominate..not to mention what feel like bots on my team 10/10 times while the other team has a 3 real people all i have is my nooby self and i lose every game. ZERO communication system and the only way to leave the game is to crtl alt delete. i used every gem and coin i had to summon and didnt even get a 5 star which probably means the rates are super trash. literally no one uses chat. the game is dead, stale and boring. dont bother.
Это же сколько в стиме мёртвых онлайн-проектов, страничку которых зачем то оставили в магазине.....
5 important things you need to know: 1. This game is not just a Moba! The trailer is really misleading. It is similar to Summoner's War, and the Moba mode is just 1 out of 8 game modes! 2. Since it is a Summoner's War type of game, be prepared to grind *a lot*. Fortunately there is auto battle mode to do the bulk of the work for you. 3. This is originally a mobile game, ported over to PC, so there shouldn't really be any surprise that there are mobile game features in it. 4. You can crossplay between Steam, Windows Store, iOS and Android. Just need to copy and paste account code from settings. If one platform is giving you problems, you can carry on from another one. 5. F2P is realistically possible as attested by other players on Reddit and Discord. Even the veterans agree that the game treats new players very well. This is a game filled with gorgeous character designs, great animations and effects, and a story mode running off a humorous script. So give this game a try and see if you like it, it's free after all. You will be surprised at how generous the freebies are and how much fun you can get as a new player.
Micro-Transactions on every single element in this game, you can't progress without them, I don't recommend it unless you are a multi-millionaire.
First things first. This is a PC version of a mobile game so expect to usual mobile fair like energy, less then breathtaking graphics, and heavy monetization. I will be reviewing as a mobile game then with this in mind. The game is a fairly generic hero collector. The PvE is a click heavy short dungeon experince thou there is a auto play feature which is unlocked fairly quickly. There is a nice variety of modes to play as you level up characters and feed them to others to power them up. There is also boss raids, which are really just single player boss encounters. At higher levels there is a co-op version and something called Ultimate Blitz. Overall PvE is rather bog standard for the genre but not bad. I don't usually PvP so I'll just cover what little I did do. There are 3 modes. Arena is a 1v1 with both teams having 4 characters and the defending player being AI controled. Very simple. There are also Challengers which are teams set by the Devs that you can fight every few hours for PvP currency and premium currency. There is also 5V5 or Vale of Eternity. Here you use 1 character and it's like League of Legends or any other MOBA. However, the star level of your character will effect how fast they gain stats and their max stats, meaning people who put more time or money into the game have an advantage. When it comes to monetization, it's somewhat fair. Disks to summon cheap characters you use as food are very easy to get and disks that summon better characters are somewhat easy to get. You still need to be lucky to get a good character but as you go thou the main PvE campaign, you are given a few great characters. The other things you can buy with premium currency is XP boosts, energy refills, characters slots, and event packs when events are going on. Overall, it's not a bad hero collector mobile game. I wouldn't suggest it if your looking for a game to spend hours and hours playing but if your looking for something to do while watching videos or playing another game that doesn't require your full attention. Not the best game in the world but not bad. 6/10
Make a pay-once version of this game, in which you can't buy ♥♥♥♥ with real money, just gotta farm/grind it out, and hell I'll ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it at warp speed. But freemium and stamina systems suck the big one. I can't recommend this game the way it is, because it just makes you feel bad for not spending cash on it (which I will never do). Good job on the multi-platform account linking though. I like being able to play when I'm not at my PC.
