Drizzlepath" ist eigentlich kein Spiel sondern mehr eine entspannende Wanderung durch wunderschöne, natürliche Landschaften. Die Grafiken sind atemberaubend und schaffen eine immersive Atmosphäre, die zum Verweilen einlädt. An bestimmten Checkpoints wird die Stille von ruhiger Musik und der Stimme einer jungen Erzählerin unterbrochen, die dir in kurzen Geschichten mehr von ihrer Vergangenheit erzählt. Auch wenn die Erzählungen nur okay sind und nicht auf Deutsch verfügbar, tragen sie zur beruhigenden Stimmung bei. Ein zusätzlicher Anreiz sind die Steamkarten, die das Spiel bietet. Allerdings musst du es mindestens zwei Mal durchspielen, um alle Karten zu erhalten, da man in etwa 45 Minuten das erste Mal durch ist. Wenn du gerne durch virtuelle Landschaften wanderst und die Schönheit der Natur genießt, könnte "Drizzlepath" genau das Richtige für dich sein. Es ist definitiv keine rasante Action, sondern eher eine meditative Erfahrung. Warte am besten auf ein Angebot, um es dir zu holen!

Not really a game since there are no rules or ways to score a win. Achievements are based on whether you reached a checkpoint or not as you followed the trail to the mountain peak.

Nice atmospheric game. Not clear how some reviews call this a “ripoff” lol, it’s a typical walking simulator game and never claims to be anything but. If you are into atmospheric games then you’ll like this, it’s just long enough to be immersive but not too long as to overstay its welcome.

I'm leaving a negative review because this game is poorly optimized and crashes frequently. I also purchased the "Drizzlepath Bundle," which adds to my dissatisfaction. "Drizzlepath 1" has a serious memory leak issue. If you press the " ~ " key to open the developer console, you’ll see a series of errors related to texture problems. At the beginning of the game, it crashed to the desktop about six times in the same spot. Eventually, I managed to get past this and complete the game, but similar errors occurred in other parts, as I kept checking the developer console, worried it would crash again. The game lacks a save system aside from checkpoints within the same session, making it frustrating in the event of a crash. If the game crashes, you have to redo everything. I understand this is an indie game, it's inexpensive, and it's old, but that doesn't justify selling a broken product. It seems like "Valve" doesn't prioritize quality control for what's sold on "Steam." However, the developer should care enough about their game to ensure it functions properly. If updates are not possible or forthcoming, they should consider removing it from "Steam" entirely or offer it for free with a warning that it's compromised.
