Drifting Lands is an hybrid of classical horizontal shoot'em'up with a lot of strong gameplay elements coming straight from the action-RPG genre. If you want an original diablo-like game or you want a different kind of shoot'em'up, you're in the right place!

great game and runs perfect on deck
It's pretty good. I've been looking for a modern version of U.N. Squadron, and this was... Close.
It's... okay, for what it is... nice looking, controls fine, audio/etc all enjoyable... But, having a loot system for a game like this... different ships, different equipment to mix and match... It just feels... incredibly... plain, and underwhelming/unexciting, if I've absolutely zero option to either equip more than one weapon at a time, or even just being unable to swap mid-level between different ones... Like... the whole point of a loot-based architecture, is, build diversity/customization and playstyle options... But, instead of any of that being tied to the ship weapons... it all seems only viable through the equippable action skills... and, that's not terrible... but, not at all what I was hoping for. I don't want to "press action button to kill things" in the exact same ways for hours on end, while enemies get more diverse/advanced/challenging/etc and all I get to do differently is increase stats and unlock slightly different action ability variations...
Graphismes au top, challenge corsé, des mécaniques de rpg assez bien intégrées et une bande son d'enfer. Bref une super découverte !
Shoot 'Em Up with RPG elements and plot. It seems like a completely normal idea, but in the end, we get an endless grind and a very slow development of enemies (you fight the same opponents for 3-4 missions without any significant changes in their mechanics), it seems that the developers set as their goal to stretch their game for 200 hours (spoiler: they did not succeed for technical reasons). In general, mechanics give out extremely slowly, so you passed the mission, now the enemies leave a projectile after death, passed another one, other enemies began to do the same, passed the third, the fourth began to do the same, the fifth, finally they started shooting at you and so on. Item mechanics are here, but on the fifth item you just stop reading stats, you change items every mission. So you just click on the item with the highest level or highest rarity, and that's all. The plot is there, that's all I can say about it. The characters talk, but all this is written very simply and dully. My walkthrough is stuck at level 19 of the second stage. I go through the same mission over and over again and nothing happens, new ones don't open, and the plot doesn't move anywhere. Either something broke, or I do not understand what to do next. To be honest, I'm even glad that it happened, now I can delete the game with a clear conscience. Just in case, I’ll clarify, the game is NOT terrible, it’s just average on all fronts, and there is nothing to remember or learn, and I don’t want to return to it.
非常喜欢横板射击游戏
Bon jeu, le debut est assez facile mais la difficulté augmente assez rapidement . Differents vaisseaux et configurations possibles , un coté RPG avec des builds et des skills .
nice shmup with nice ost
Average to low. No need to keep playing tones of hours to get what we have here. It is a nice shmup visually but that forget to vary. The playability is smooth, pleasant, but forget to vary. The RPG is... sorry? Is there any in that game? Any choice to be done except managing what you loot? Ah yes, there is a lot of people talking in between the shmup phases and you will probably skip them all because it is just boring to read. So, you equip your ship like many of these games. You may upgrade it as well like most of these games. And you do or redo (not sure sometimes) similar maps with sometimes the background changing. Background seems to change with the difficulty. But there is no real feeling of progression. You will chain similar fights against similar spacecrafts. A bit less than 2h in the game, I played quite a few map. Reached the difficulty level 10 and I am even not sure I really progressed except that my ship is a bit more powerful... I feel I play the same map all over again and it will be endless... I personally prefer to come back to something like Nex Machina or Sky Force.
