Half the time the game softlocks at the track selection screen

I'm not one to normally write scathing reviews, and let me begin by saying I feel very much for the sole remaining developer on this project. If you read what happened in his community notes, it's not his fault. And, for full disclosure, I was a kickstarter backer on this. But seeing as it's still being sold on steam for $10, I have to let people know to avoid this at all costs. It's not a game. It's no where near complete, it's not even really functional. There are no opponents. The music is messed up. The audio and sound effects are completely wrong, the stuttering sound of the engine noise being spammed is way too loud and completely drowns out everything else. The menus are bare bones and look like place holders. Manual transmission doesn't work, you can't down shift. The titular drifting mechanic is broken. There are only 3 tracks, and they're incredibly unfinished. The first track will have you racing straight forward in a line for huge stretches with absolutely nothing to do. Since there's no time trials or opponents, and you can't drift, there's literally nothing to do in the track. The game really shouldn't be sold on steam, it's not a real release and the full version will never come. I feel so bad for everyone involved in this, but please, save your money. It's basically not a game.

still got hope the dev could make something out of this

For Early Access, it's what you'd expect. But very fun and the physics are awesome regardless.

Игра в раннем доступе и смотрится неполноценным, этакая shareware. Играбельная конечно, в распоряжении три трассы, остров со пальмами, ночной город и подводный, в духе бонусный из NFS3. А машины, достаточно известные, пересчитывать не нужно, эта фигня и эта фигня и эта всё фигня. Просто все умеют дрифтить. Графика в стиле ретро, в сдержанном темпе. Парадоксально, что требует видеокарта, а не ЦП, которое в своё время так рисовал графику и спрайты. Единственное, что игра заслуживает внимание - фоторежим. Довольно продвинутый. Поколдовать можно для достижения эффективной фотографии. После того, создаёт два файла, в сжатом для Steam'а и без сжатия для себя, в отдельной папке. Существует "мастерская", менять скины. И мультиплеер. Разве что неизвестно, когда будут дополнять игру до полноценного формата, покупать, дело "рисковое". Оценка заслуживает нейтральное, а за неимением, пусть синька, за фоторежим.

I paid early access for this game years ago hoping it would be good and the devs honestly just took peoples money and abandoned working on this game it's still buggy as hell no updates have been released since what January of god knows what year. All in all don't even pay for this just pirate this game because this guys suck fr lost faith in drift stage

Unfortunately, the gameplay has lost what made it so great in the first few alphas. I don't understand how the 2018 alpha version can have less content than the 2015 one, less polished and more buggy. Even the tracks are strangely way more boring than before. Right now, I don't believe in this project anymore. That's why I asked for a refund. I'll be glad to purchase the final product if the dev(s) manage to prove they're able to do something with it. I just don't see it happening.

pior jogo de carro que já joguei na vida, honestamente DIVERSOS BUGS, menus que carregam infinitamente, o som do carro é um crime, fica pipocando pra caralho, e sem querer eu descobri que para o som funcionar corretamente é preciso deixar a camera DE LADO pro som ficar normal, COMO QUE DIRIGE OLHANDO PRO LADO? o acelerador é um crime, não tem de fato o RPM que sobe conforme vc acelera, sua aceleração é imediata, se vc apertar tudo, o carro acelera tudo na mesma velocidade, é muito ruim pro ouvido, parece um projeto de uma criança que ta aprendendo a programar como que isso custa 20 reais? EM PROMOÇÃO nem sei qual o valor do jogo puro não perca seu tempo, qualquer outro jogo é mais bem feito
