I really wanted to like this. At the time of writing this review I have beaten pretty much 100% of what's there to beat. Goodies: Soundtrack - Kinda slaps, ngl Concept art - When it's good, it's a nice change of pace to what's typical Mixed opinion: Movement - really great time to time, makes me wish more attention was given to level layout and where each jump actually lands Combat - Spam spam, but I've had a few "whoa you can do this?" -kind of genuinely awesome moments, which I can't with a good conscience say were designed, but very rewarding nonetheless when they happened My issues: Bugs, lots of bugs. Soft locks - there are quite a few, most notably when using skip dialogue -button you can easily soft lock your game and lose all progress since your last save. These soft locks just make you unable to control your character range from permanently immobilizing your character until you re-boot your game, to just forcing you to go back to Sanctuary. Autosave - Doesn't actually save in between each level, and doesn't save checkpoints in level Broken achievement - There is the "Return to me" -achievement which at the writing of this review doesn't actually work. Inconsistent character art - Is your main character a twiggy loli, teenager or a thicc dumptruck, we simply don't know. Enemies - most can be just skipped, as the obvious main way of farming money is the 2-3 boss Movement mechanics - Everything that bounces you has this insane acceleration which makes you most of the time overshoot your landing if you are used to precise platforming. Levels overall just lack the polish to make speedrunning a game like this feel like something I'd want to do. Combos - For whichever reason combos reward a flat amount of money and it caps at 20 coins. Seems like a wasted potential. How combos actually work is a mystery is not also explained. Inconsistent difficulty - Most of the difficulty parts of the game feel like they were oversight due to lack of gameplay testing, and compared to how easy the game is, there are a few really odd moments here and there. Yes, I'm looking at you, autoscroller level. Story - Just a lot of non-sense, not that I was expecting much. It's weird though how none of the sexual relationships seem to make any sense, they just kinda happen. Wasted potential - I do genuinely think, that with a bit of level/enemy layout tweaking, bug fixes and consistent artwork this could be a great game. And if the devs ever decide to put extra effort in, I hope you do some extra challenge where the movement speed from chaining hits is actually utilized.

Artwork is inconsistent. The publisher even said it's because multiple artists worked on it and there was no consensus. The protagonist looks thicc on the cover art and some of the scenes, but the portrait you see when she's talking is much smaller. The sprite itself isn't sexy as all. Sex scenes are a reward for finishing a level. They are not well drawn and barely have any animation. Plus they make zero sense with the story. You can also earn artwork by achievements, but most of the artwork is meh. Gameplay is ok. The levels have variety and were mostly fun to play through. Very few secrets and there are literally 4 or 5 different enemies. Bosses were creative. Killing enemies is satisfying but not enough variety. Music rocks. There is a nice variety of tracks and I enjoyed most of them. Probably the highlight for me and kept me going. The story is garbage. Her companion throughout most of the game is controlling and abusive. It does not matter if she grows and learns by the end - don't be a jerk! There was no meaningful antagonist or ending. The horror elements are nice when they show up, but I only remember two moments. Again, no payoff in the story.

It was an ok game. Art starts out good. Music is okay. Only enjoyed/felt engaged for 1 of the challenges from 1 of the levels. I guess it had to fight to get finished and ended up with a lot of weird short comings and just random fan-art. Save yourself some money and watch a play-through or scroll through the screenshots. The dev hasn't been responding to an achievement being bugged and it's the last one a lot of people need, including myself.

Друга — найменша, поціновувачі естетики та жіночої краси. Коли секс-сцена зроблена з душою, з деталями до дрібничок, а в персонажах, навіть якщо це секс-арт, відчувається емоція. Так от ця гра ні туди, ні сюди... Бездарні арти, і лише один хороший арт побачив у кінці першого розділу. Лише одна хороша секс-сценка. На другому я зрозумів, що далі я не побачу руку оригінальних авторів. Тоді ви побачите арт, який контрастно відрізняється від оригінального стилю героїні, гібербалізовані ягодиці, талії, ляхи й тому подібному. Та далі буде... [h1]Приємна піксельна графіка й платформінг, однак одноманітно[/h1] Я б не сказав, що грі личить бути піксельною з таким дизайном героїнь, однак все ж відразу не викликає й у цілому проходити рівні тут приємно. Хай зірок з неба не вистачає для різноманіття й більш захопливих маршрутів, бо гра явно претендує на швидкісне проходження. Та от справа в тому, що на кожен розділ вам треба проходити десь по 4 рівня, і ви до бос-битви встигнете занудьгуватися від проходження рівнів. Вам не захочеться їх досліджувати, бо гра не дуже то й старається вас винагороджувати за рівні. [h1]Прикольна музика, але не відповідає настрою гри[/h1] Музика тут не те, щоб погана, я б таку музику навіть собі до колекції додав би. І викликає ностальгічні почуття, коли ще школу ходив, тоді то я дуже любив подібну музику з басами й дабстепом. На початку така музика добре придавала темп, але щось занадто різко починається й закінчується, а рівні проходяться дуже швидко. Я ще думав, що напевно, динамічна музика буде лише на першому розділі, але ні, постійно грають баси, хоч антураж гри має бути темним, аля Аліса в країні чудес. Зрештою, з гри хочеться вийти просто, щоб відпочити від музики, а не від проходження. [h1]Абсурдний сюжет[/h1] Історія героїні навіть не абстрактна. Вона раптово опиняється в химерному світі снів і раптово прокидається, і так само раптово потрапляє знову в той світ, так ще й якось прихопила із собою свою подругу. От на цій подрузі я й закінчив проходження, і повернув гроші. На темі з сексом та артами, поясню що не так з сексуальною частиною гри. Справа в тому, що гра наче намагається пояснити як працює її світ, але все зводиться на, «Бо тому, що, так треба, така доля твоя», тобто сама героїня дуже особлива, а чим... ну напевно, дізнаємося в кінці, але мені вистачило й двох розділів, дяка, хоч діалоги не японські. Та от тепер на тему секса, я так і не зрозумів, як гра пояснює сюжетно секс-сцени. Тобто секс тут, це фантазії героїні після перемоги над босом. Але коли вона прокидається, швидко забуває про те, що їй снився якийсь секс із кимось. І гра продовжується так ніби, гра не про секс, а про історію, про душу, про персонажів. Та от проблема, душі-то в грі нема... [h1]Порно гра для збоченців чи для естетів?[/h1] Я довго думав, повертати гроші за гру чи залишити. Але подивившись на ціну гри, я очманів. Невже я реально заплатив за таку сумнівну якість таку велику суму? Звичайно брав на знижках, але якість гри не 300 грн, і не 200. Бо під красивими дівчатами, приховані огидні еротичні та сексуальні арти, які робили абсолютно ліві художники, а не автори самої гри. Чого вже, якщо хочете побачити ще вміст, ви маєте збирати монетки й купувати випробування, які не мало коштують, а потім перепроходити рівень і виконувати ці випробування. Винагорода того не вартує, бо я побачив досить огидний арт з гібербалізованими грудьми, сосками й усім іншим. Так, після першого розділу, є надія, що секс-сценки будуть дуже файними. Але до них дуже довго доводиться добиратися, а якість гірша за попередню. А врахуйте, що ці монети ви маєте витрачати на прокачку. Чого вже, плювком у обличчя покупця є те, що відкривши магазин, ви мали б бачити сексуальну розмальовану головну героїню, при чому в двох розділах, випробування та прокачка, але ви бачите лише не завершений набросок. Та знаєте, в цілому відчувається гра не завершеною, немов кожен рівень, то все бета, а гру хотіли по скоріше випустити. Ця гра буде чудовим прикладом, що не можна об’єднувати різних авторів і художників у одну мішанину, бо інакше буде не борщ, а щі! Мій вердикт, що гра робилася все ж для збоченців, враховуючи, які тут додаткові арти показані. Коли гра буде коштувати менше 100 грн, я подумаю про те, щоб придбати її. Як платформер, простенький, але мені сподобалося й хотілося б ще пограти. А до тих пір, не дайте себе обманути, не будьте стадом. Краще заплатити за якісне порно й бути задоволеним. Ніж заплатити аби якусь ціну й у підсумку залишитися з сумним пісюном. Dreamcutter man what a wasted potential of a game. So let me start off by saying this dreamcutter is about a woman named Haley who woken up from a bad dream where she died and then later on meeting up with her friend Lucia in class to explain but not before she went to sleep. And now she's stuck in her own mind and she needs to break free from the "Doubt" who is trying to take control of her body and mind. Now she needs to gain new powers and work with dreamcutter to destroy them. Sounds like a great concept with very cool potential but unfortunately it doesn't reach it at all. I don't hate this game but I certainly don't think it's been fully realized a lot of the mechanics and even some of the ideas this game have could have been like Catherine like what happens in your dreams affects reality things like that. But that's not what we got so... I'll talk about the gameplay. Gameplay got to say it's one of the more stronger aspects of this game the jumpy controls work if a little bit floaty in some cases the attack works as it should and even has a devil May cry style bar but don't ask me on how it works it just keeps going up and up and I'm not sure how. You can purchase new moves and upgrade your health but the game doesn't exactly show you how they work so when you randomly do it in a level you'll just be like "whoa I can do that?!" And you move on. The boss battles are fine I guess but for me their ultimately forgettable nothing really stands out because in this game was supposed to find out more about Haley her mindset and how she thinks like a corrupted form of her mind but it never happens during the boss battles and you really don't get to know her as a character. Characters pretty OneNote and forgettable and that's for everyone in the cast you don't really learn too much about Haley or Lucia and honestly this is the weaker aspect of the game and I kind of wish they wouldn't do some depths about her character her relationship between her friend but it is what it is. As for the music it's mostly dubstep so it's fine if you're into it great if not oh well. The arts it's very inconsistent there are quite obviously different artists on this project because in one instances she's a fairly normal goth chick and then a few scenes later you see her as this really thicc check and it's really really not that good. It also doesn't help that the game has a SFW AND NSFW mode for streaming so they could have had the normal body type for the SFW and the thiccer body type for NSFW but once again it is what it is but but it's still annoying when you notice it. Overall I do not recommend dreamcutter it's way too undercooked and underdevelop and could use some more time in the oven but I will say this the levels in dream cutter are definitely different and will keep you on your toes from the different platforming sections so hey I'll give it that.

It's got a thick emo girl, fun platforming, a magic talking scythe and a thick emo girl. Why not?

Ok so I've just cleared the first boss and and I'm absolutely impressed with the quality of this game! The artwork is awesome and I'm already I'm love with the bumpin soundtrack! Combat and platforming is on point. Also... Sex! Can't wait to play this to completion!
