Last part of the 'Drawn' trilogy, full of magical scenes and lovely adventure. Although it is less dark and melancholic than first and second part, it is still a great game. Like two previous games, it has beautiful scenes, interesting and cute puzzles and adorable characters. Everything in this game is mesmerising and will awake the child inside you. I wish there were more cute little games like this trilogy.
I loved playing years ago the original Painted Tower and Dark Flight. I haven't played them for months... years even! Still, I got a whole bunch of nostalgia by just opening the game for the first time. The menus are just like the first games. I am not a big fan of the Hidden Object genre but i love these games! I even enjoy the gameplay! That is how good these games are! If you are not a fan of Hidden Object games, I still recommended this series! And even without nostalgia... these are still great games! A big and enjoyable cast of characters, locations and story! If you like the story of the Portal games, you will love the story here! If you love all the characters in shows like Adventure Time, this is the game for you! If you like storybook and painting aesthetics, that is here too in the entire series! Just play the games! I think in the originals, before I even knew what Steam was or it even existing, I clocked hours and hours into the first two! I plan to do the same here, maybe even speedrun the game! Just play the games!
This sweet little dreamy end to this trilogy has definitely challenging puzzles, and a slightly frustrating hint system. If I have any criticism, it's that paths aren't entirely clear, and at times hard to find.
The third installement of the "Drawn" series. If you liked the other two games you will like this one. However I felt it was a little easier than the other two and not as intriguing as them. When it comes to the difficulty maybe it's just me who learned the ways of the Drawn series, so I guess that's good. The games made me more observant. All puzzles made sense but I remember one being a bit streching, but maybe that's just me. I love what they've done with the camera, how it moves the whole screen, a welcomed change. Other than that graphically it's just as beautiful as the other installements. Some really nice animations, but unfortunately a few of them didn't run properly and I missed a few because of "lag". Don't know what caused it, could be on my end. But worth mentioning. I did play on Windows 10, I've read some people experiences problems, but other than that it played perfectly. Anyway in the end I highly recommend this game if you liked the other ones. And if you haven't played the other ones, play them first. All games are connected.
Fun
A really nice and sweet prequel to the Drawn series. The puzzles are pretty easy to solve and the game itself is really nice, there is less "typical" drawn mechanic but its not bad to be honest. I love the calligraphers gaming sequence, which i couldnt recall to have ever seen, even though its like the third or fourth time playing. All in one a great end to a great series. I can really highly recommend it.
I like this installment of the Drawn series... a little less than the prior two, but because it makes me change my mind about wanting the achievements to count in Steam rather than be in-game only. The main one that makes me angry is the honeycomb puzzle, as the honey is very difficult to see, and the player for some reason holds it horizontally, so there are more places to drip from, rather than vertically as would make sense. I think this would be more fair if the game didn't have only one auto-save rather than allowing you to save wherever you want. I honestly restarted the game twenty times trying to get the achievement before I even considered finishing the rest of the game, just because I wanted it done and achieved, but it's too hard for the patience I have. Other than that, it's a top notch sequel (three-quel?), with stunning art and animation (I really love the pop-up books!), and puzzles--OTHER THAN THE "DON'T MAKE A MESS" HONEYCOMB ACHIEVEMENT--that feel fair and clever. I definitely look forward to the next hinted-at installment in the Drawn series!
this is THE BEST GAME EVER, completely worth the money, it's so underrated i love it so much this is such a good game I am a dungeon master and I steal all of my puzzles from this game, it's so good, get it, get it while you can, please, i beg of you, buy this game, buy this game!
