I've been following this game for quite a while, excited about its release. As released at the moment, it takes maybe 15 minutes to beat the available levels but still pretty fun and I can't wait to see what all they will add. It's labeled early access and although the steam page dates back quite a bit, it's quite a small dev team so progress was, and will be expected to be slow. The next markers are for the game AS IS. Please note that this is early access and is bound to improve and keep in mind this review was written on the second day of release. ---{Gameplay}--- 🔳Try not to get addicted 🔳Very good (x)Good 🔳Nothing special 🔳Ehh 🔳Bad 🔳Just dont ---{Graphics}--- 🔳Masterpiece 🔳Beautiful 🔳Good 🔳Decent (x)Will do 🔳Bad 🔳Awful 🔳Paint.exe ---{Audio}--- 🔳Fascinating 🔳Very good (x)Good 🔳Decent 🔳Not too bad 🔳Bad 🔳Earrape ---{Audience}--- 🔳Kids 🔳Teens 🔳Adults (x)Everyone ---{PC Requirements}--- 🔳Check if you can run paint (x)Potato (might notice some frame loss if you're destroying a whole city with lots of flame) 🔳Decent 🔳Fast 🔳Rich boi 🔳Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{Story}--- 🔳Doesn't have 🔳Something isnt nothing I guess (x)Not greatly told (YET!) 🔳Average 🔳Good 🔳Lovely 🔳Will make you cry or smile alot ---{Difficulity}--- 🔳Just press a bunch of buttons 🔳Easy (x)Significant brain usage (as of the second day of release, it's a bit clunky but you can manage pretty well) 🔳Easy to learn / Hard to master 🔳Not so easy 🔳Difficult 🔳Dark Souls ---{Grind}--- (x)Nothing 🔳Only if you care about leaderboards/ranks 🔳Isnt necessary to progress 🔳A bit grindy sometimes 🔳Average grind level 🔳A bit grindy 🔳Insanity ---{Game Time}--- 🔳Long enough for a cup of tea (x)Short 🔳Average 🔳Long 🔳Depends on you 🔳Endless ---{Price}--- 🔳Just buy it 🔳F2P 🔳Worth the price 🔳Wait for sale 🔳Maybe if you have some spare money left 🔳Not recommended 🔳Dont throw money into a rubbish bin (x)It's free! ---{Micro-Transactions}--- 🔳EA 🔳Mobile Game(Necessary if you don’t want to wait 15 weeks to construct a toaster) 🔳”Premium” Currency AND Normal Currency 🔳”Premium” Currency OR Normal Currency 🔳Quick way to advance 🔳Fortnite(Skins/Emotes/Etc) 🔳Only to show off big time 🔳Level DLC (x)None ---{Bugs/Glitches}--- 🔳Never had any (x)Minor bugs/glitches 🔳Few bugs/glitches 🔳Can get annoying 🔳Ruining the game 🔳The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs/glitches Will try to update this whenever there are new patches or updates c:

The game is of course as bare bones as "bare bones" gets. At the time I'm writing this, there is only 1 level available. However, the mechanics look solid and could be a lot of fun once refined. The dragon itself is well made, with good details and a sort of 3D style that reminds me of newer cartoons. On the negative side, I feel this might have been too early to enter early access. As I said, the game is extremely bare bones. Opening cutscene is made with drawings, there is no menu to speak of and there is only one level. This might have been too early and I'm afraid the lack of initial content will inundate the game with negative reviews. All in all, I'm looking forward to where the game is going.
game is not long enough no map makes it hard to find villages which would be fine if you could play for more than 140 seconds
Soulless dragon
Very short F2P demo of a mostly broken game. - 2 attack modes like fireballs & ground fire, but no health bars of structures or buildings - Stupid mission requirements: --- 1st mission get 25k damage - quite doable --- 2nd mission kill 75 villagers in 90 secs or so - almost impossible - Shallow 3d graphics and clunky controls, you mostly have to elevate from the terrain and: what are denizens?
There just isn't enough there to call it a proof of concept. Very poor controls, one ability and so visually plain it doesn't even suggest an art style coming down the road. I want to see what this becomes just because the idea of controlling a dragon is so cool but in this current form I can't get excited for it or suggest it.
EST Completion Time (1 Level): <5 minutes Achievements Available: 1 EST Completion Time (100% Achievements): <1 minute* Trading Cards Available: 0 (N/A)
"In tempest day, the veil is torn. Lost dragons of old, now reborn. Power shifts and magic grows. Dragons reign, chaos flows." — Avus, The Day of Axis
Dragon Souls is a singleplayer roleplaying game in which you take flight as a dragon mercilessly terrorizing denizens, destroying their villages & kingdoms, and taking their gold. Each dragon has its own campaign, with the Black Dragon having 3 levels and the Red Dragon having 5. Rather than having an immersive open-world concept where players can wreak havoc to their heart's content, levels are capped with a time limit and have goals (i.e., cause #X damage); while the environments aren't impressive, the time limit certainly prevents players from exploring and enjoying any of the scenery. Despite its intriguing concept, Dragon Souls is unfortunately unfinished, bug-ridden, lacking in content, and seemingly abandoned by the developer. *Note: As of 06/02/2025, 1/1 achievements are bugged and unlock automatically when viewing the game in your Steam library; however, Dragon Souls will only display under your "Perfect Games" after installing and launching the game.
Game is Not fun at all things poping into view at almost point blank range and its a Burn this set for this mission type only not a free roam and burn if you want there is no system inplace of any kind that is fun. 2/10 (cause dragons and they look ok only upside)
I honestly am not quite sure why this game has as many positive reviews as it does. It's extremely repetitive and the controls are super wonky. You just keep restarting and doing pretty much the exact same thing over and over, and the timer runs out pretty quickly. One time, I glitched through the world and ended up swimming and couldn't get out of the water before the timer ran out. I get this is a free to play game, but even free, I wouldn't waste my time.
okay well...i wish i could say much about this game but i cant due to how short it is you play as a gamer going around shooting fireballs i found it quickly boring and confuseing because the fireballs only shoot straight and since everything is on the ground that's not helpful honestly not sure what to think of this cause its early access but it didnt work out for me because of a few bugs such as the building and people not spawning in right as a achievement hunter... i started the game and got the only achievement so... yay? honestly i barely tried but its because i couldnt be bothered the game in its current state is glitched and messy i cant recommend it in its current state
