Looks like a runner but feels more like a platformer, a hard and challenging one. You run to the right and try to not get killed by the dragon, traps and enemies. While the screen doesn't move too fast, it moves at the right speed because you require precise movements to not get killed. O yes, you die at "touch" and then restart. Instead of mobile runners, it remembers me to the old nes mario games where the the screen was moving to the right and you avoid stuff. Pros -The game shuffles the obstacles, which makes the game feel fresher but at the same time more challenging. -The enemies have different attack patterns. Ones jump as soon as you land on their platform and strike you from above while others are long range etc. Sounds simple, but with the presure of the screen moving, makes you think twice before approaching. -Good value for the money Cons. -It just released, has a few bugs but nothing game wrecking. -Sometimes you get impatient and stick to the right side of the screen, only to be instakilled by an enemy. Some sort of notice about what is approaching would be good. -Maybe its a bug, but some of the traps and enemies could use some SFX Veredict Looks casual, but doesn't feel casual, buy it if you like challenges and want to burn some time, you'll enjoy it
Corra, mata e sobreviva.
Not exactly challenging once you get the hang of it. Unfortunately like many indie games with procedural generation they tend to produce unbeatable combinations ruining your run. I consider that an instant fail on theh game design part so I can't recommend this game.
Casual players may rage but i think the challenge is enjoyable
Dragon Chase is a 3D rendered 2D endless runner with lightweight platformer elements. There's a castle theme as you must run to the right to avoid a dragon, jumping over traps, to see how long you can stay alive. That's all there is to it. The shallow gameplay is accompanied by an equally shallow technical implementation, although the visuals are almost passable and there's even 4K support, the rest of the implementation does not keep up. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game, to avoid doing the important job of level/map design. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Dragon Chase is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

P. S. If you have difficulties in the walktrough, this guide will be very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561496240
♫ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: Die MF Die - Dope
Dragon Chase is one of those cases where the game deceives the buyer from the moment they watch the trailer. For an indie game developed on Unity, the graphics in the trailer, albeit with minor omissions, look noticeably better than what the player ultimately gets. Unfortunately, there is not a single noticeable plus in this game. The main problems with Dragon Chase are its numerous bugs and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay. It would seem that the game encourages you to score at least 50,000 points to get into the top 22 players, but this is extremely difficult to do. Movement is limited to a single strict line, and the game camera is located on the side. On the left, the dragon chases, destroying everything in its path, and on the right, the game constantly generates random but repetitive obstacles. The problems start almost from the beginning. The dragon's attacks create insurmountable difficulties. It attacks the player with flames from above or in an arc from below, making it impossible to continue running at times. Coupled with other fiery obstacles, the game does not seek to punish haste head-on, but seems to deliberately create hopeless situations. Enemy attacks and knight mechanics also leave much to be desired. In addition to running, the character can strike by pressing the F key. The first problem concerns the dark green orcs: whether it's a bug or an intentional feature, the only way to kill them normally is to either hold down F while moving or jump and use the same tactic. It is not possible to simply approach and strike. An equally significant source of immense irritation for anyone who has managed to score 50,000+ points is the three lizards on the stairs! It would seem that it would be enough to simply jump over and kill them, but no. When encountering this type of enemy in combination with an obstacle, in 95% of cases, defeat is guaranteed, and you get an acute desire to curse the developers with every expletive in the world. Lizards, along with, for example, circular saws (when the dragon destroys them and pieces of objects fly off), belong to the category of “death from nowhere” bugs. Even if you manage to dodge their poisonous breath, sometimes it is completely unclear how to attack them correctly. Considering that the game does not allow you to move further to the right (it is impossible to run away from the dragon faster and further, according to the rules of the game), the lizards attack disproportionately, and incorrect timing means certain death. The platforming itself is completely random, but I will repeat: for every 10,000 points or so, you may encounter the same type of obstacle, which quickly becomes tedious. Once again, there are complaints about the graphics. In the trailer, it looks darker and more atmospheric, but in reality, the shadows are naturally square, and the objects lack normal proportions, which destroys any immersion. The sounds and effects also cause criticism. The soundtrack is very sharp and hurts the ears, especially when killing enemies (and the sword strikes on the floor by the black and red giant orcs are simply deafening). The cheap rock melody, as if taken from a copyright-free YouTube library, is looped and repeated ad nauseam. Steam includes a leaderboard and achievements for this game, but there is no Steam Cloud or trading cards, which further reduces the desire to spend time on this “game.” Moreover, during the game, you cannot exit to the main menu normally — the Quit button simply does not work. This game could even be considered mediocre with a stretch, but combined with such execution, it's embarrassing to sell such a low-quality project even for 150 tenge. Gioco perfetto per risvegliare Emily Rose, Regan MacNeil e tante altre personalità dalla dubbia provenienza. Consigliatissimo per farvi scomunicare!
