关于我花钱买这个游戏只能说有这钱不如去洗脚来的舒服了
Story mode was good. Played 1 online match and it was enough for me.
this game is fun at times but the alt win conditions are broken at times. beat someone in two mins? yeah sure did that, oh but wait it still triggers the regular win and now you have to restart and go through 2 minutes of comic panels again.
Basically: Wait for the discount rack for this game. It's pretty ok, but it's not great. It's a DBZ fighting game that -almost- gets to the same level of enjoyment as the old Bodukai era! Kinda. The Good: it has a lot of characters, and characters have different versions from a bunch of eras, which is nice. The art is good, and the story finally has the fun "what if" scenarios we loved from the old PS2 game. Voice acting is right up there with the show, no one sounds like they're phoning it in. Though it does sometimes register like the Gohan scream from the old games (you know the one). The Bad: the combat is a solid 6/10. Basic combo bashing, every thing you want to use comes from Ki, which is the same level for everyone, and does not functionally fill on its own. You -have- to stop and charge, which is flow breaking. And that shining blue power that lets you use your non-ki abilities regens slooooooow and is used up when you want to use your Big abilities. Which is just charging up past full, using up one of the other bars, and then being able to do a few bigger shots. It's... fine. But even dodging, phasing, teleporting: all ki, so you can either fight properly or blast. It's one resource and it's boring. Combat is also 1v1, always, though you can switch in some fights (it's clunky and requires you to not move), but it's 1v1. The worlds have breakable parts, but you can't blow them up like the old games. The Ugly: the menus suck. They're weirdly all little cinematics to switch, which was maybe entertaining the first couple times, but when you want to do something and it's dragged out? Rough. Also, Bulma talks the entire time your in the shop, saying a line every three seconds and she only has three lines. You're browsing hearing "I take a long time shopping too!" over and over. The level menus are messed up and clunky. Drop into a character? Might just start a battle or return to character select. Sometimes you have to hold the button down, others not. The game is weirdly either very short fight cinematics, or weird, almost moving comics that read like a children's book, skipping over massive parts, or just breaking it down to "and then, Goku died, met King Kai, came back to life, and went to Namek! Now he's fighting the Ginyu Force!" All story mode arcs are character specific: if you're playing Vegeta: you're fighting Freeza, and then your next fight is Android 19. It could be more fun online, maybe, but the point is the single player mode is just... bad.
its the best game but the last 2 arcs takes forever tomorow im doing the toP arc i love this game
Very, very good game for it's series. This game feels like a hybrid of Kakarot and the old Budokai Tenkaichi series. They do include a decent amount of voice acting within the main story which is always a huge plus/ My only complaints are that they still have not figured out that slideshow cutscenes aren't great, and a more in-depth tutorial wouldn't hurt. Overall 5/5
