Its fun at times but you have to grind out short stories which are the only type of writing that actually make money that could earn you a living in a reasonable time frame. You are forced to move into a new house with higher rent for no reason and you have to make 50,000 to buy it and it doesn't even offer any improvements over the previous apartment so you just waste all the time making that money. It takes forever grinding up to 10,000 fans just to be able to publish a novel, and I don't know why it sends you mail to write your first one when you are nowehere near that goal.
I love this game... but I'm autistic. So take with that what you will.

'Boring and repetitive. Tried twice, there's just not enough to enjoy,..
Concept has been done before to death. This is nothing new, innovative, or interesting. Also, as an (admittedly unsuccessful) author myself I know from experience that this game has very little to do with reality.
This game is INSANELY addictive. Its not a simple game there is a lot of trial & error to becoming a great author as the games main goal is for you to become a world renowned author in multiple areas I have only logged almost 10 hours into the game but that's more hours than I have put into a lot of my library. If I had one issue with the game it would be the slow gains when it comes to fans, I am in my 19th year in-game & have only accumulated around 14k fans. I don't know if that's a good thing as from a review I watched before making the purchase I think the career spans 30 years & I take a long time to write one book as I have levelled up my character to near Stephen King level talent.
This is an excellent way to procrastinate writing my real book!
Derivative of Game Dev Tycoon in the core gameplay (a poor attempt, honestly), and not much else. There wasn't really any challenge to speak of, either. It's not a bad concept for a game, I just don't think that the dev knew how to pull it off. For what it's worth, the atmosphere and the soundtrack were quite pleasant, and I didn't encounter any bugs. Drafting Tales is skin and bones, but what is there is at least well-made.
A fun little management game I've been playing since it was in early access, the developer has been diligent with game balance/polish and fixing bugs.
I enjoyed playing, but I wish some things were different. (And they will be) so I'm just going to wait for full release. I do recommend playing the game, you will get hooked for some hours. Worth the money
Loved it. It was very additive but I think the appeal may be to a niche game player. Everything ran well and I am looking forward to playing again soon after numerous updates.
