Pretty fun game
It is a solid game but I feel its price is a little higher than its quality.

I am uninstalling and trying to get a refund after I post this. I may opinion, this game is much worse to use than the 2018 version, and it's for one major reason I noticed almost immediately. The Player Search function, the most useful feature of the previous games, has been castrated. Used to be, you could not only select one or more positions to search, but you could apply filters for any or all of the numerically rated attributes. And search would show all who qualified, and none who didn't. Now, you can only sort by position, and than pick ONE LISTED ATTRIBUTE ONLY to sort from highest or lowest. Want a more through search like before? Sucks to be you. I'll stuck to the 2018 game untill they get their heads out of their colons about this.
I've been playing the fm series for a few years now and absolutely love it, even tough I don't watch or follow soccer. So seeing a basketball sim in the same vein had me really excited. Unfortunately (for me), the match engine is only 2D which just burns my eyes, but other than that looks pretty deep and if you play text based sims this may be a solid choice for you. I love the options for customizing the league, especially being able to set you starting year, but wish you could edit players, as Herb Jones is severely underrated, and likenesses could be improved... Didn't look around the league too much, but having Zion and BI show up as white guys was pretty weird. Idk if it's random or set that way, but at least give players the option to change it, if they deem necessary. So in short, looks great but Im really hoping for a 3D match engine... Make it happen devs!
Far better than any other game of this type, still lots of problems. The UI could get better. Some kind of tutorials would be nice. More animations would be nice.
tl;dr As long as the game doesn't bug out or glitch, it's great, but if it DOES bug/glitch, it sucks I was initially on the fence about this game due to several bugs that sucked the fun out of it for me. It was so bothersome that I tried refunding, which was denied. This turned out to be the best thing that could have happened because it forced me to reinstall the game a second time and I have yet to see any game breaking bugs. The only downside now, is that I have stopped the slow simulation of games because it's very glitchy still. Overall, based on the last 6 or so hours of gameplay I will therefore revise my recommendation to a cautiously positive one.
