I really liked how the artistic elements of the game intertwine and how the story is told, although the game is short and has a good cost benefit.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy 🎃
Simple sliding puzzle game, but I really like the way it's presented. You climb the tower after each puzzle is completed and slowly make your way to the final reveal which was pretty cool. It has good use of music, and certain floors have interactive elements. Chests, bats that swam from shadows if you click on them. It's a clever way to make a sliding puzzle game more interesting. And there's a minigame hidden too The art for the puzzles is good, and the pixel art around it is also nice. The only real criticism I have is the zoom. If you mouse out of the puzzle it will zoom out of the puzzle since it works based on your mouse placement. I wish it were a toggle. Where you clicked the frame or puzzle to enter it and then clicked outside of it to exit. For less than a dollar I got it for, it was more than worth it. I like a sliding puzzle every now and then. Even though I feel dumb trying to complete them half the time.
Very different and interesting puzzle. I liked a lot.
This game is great for achievement hunters who happen to like sliding puzzles. There's only 8 levels and one extra that's hidden. Would I pay for this game???? Not unless its a dollar or less but I got it on sale so it works for me. Its a cute game but incredibly simple. Not worth more than the dollar I paid.
So I give this a Recommend, but only if you like simple puzzle games. I remember playing this type of handheld, cheap, plastic, portable puzzle slider games when I was a kid. Usually in a long car ride. But those pretty much only had 9 tiles and, of course, the picture never changed. I finished the game in 46 minutes, but I had to look at the discussions board to see how to get the 9th (last) achievement. The developer gave a hint on there that I needed. I probably spent as much time getting the last achievement as I did doing the 8 slider puzzles. I liked the puzzle art and it was a cute game. I don't regret paying less than $1 for the experience. But if you don't like very short, puzzle games and you don't appreciate the art as shown in the preview of the game, then don't bother buying this just to post a negative review that you didn't like it. What you see on the store page is pretty much what you get.
Very short sliding puzzle game with a vampire theme, which I found to be relaxing while I worked on the puzzles on my breaks throughout the work day. Great way to de-stress. Brings me back to my childhood where we had actual physical sliding puzzles to play with. Wished it could be longer or had some replayability, but for the price I would recommend getting this. Looking forward to seeing more from the developer.
The theme isn't my usual, but it was included in slide puzzles bundle that was on a good sale. If you're looking for a relatively mindless way to kill 15 minutes and it's on sale it's not too bad, but the largest (last) puzzle is only 4x4, all others are 3x3. There are a lot more complex games of this type at a similar price point with a longer play time.
