What makes DOWN MEANS UP unique, is that you can flip the direction of gravity. You can even flip gravity in mid-air. This makes for some interesting gameplay, where inertia plays a key role in landing the jump.

Simple platformer with gravity changing mechanic that’s fun for the first half. The goal is to reach the chest, which unlocks the next stage and rewards you with a quote from a famous person. It begins simply, with precise jumping over holes and spikes, but quickly introduces the fundamental feature of switching gravity. When you hit the button, gravity changes and you walk on the ceiling. You can swap back and forth at will, but the only requirement is that you land on firm ground following the switch. The game is fair for the first half of the 50 stages, but then the difficulty gets too much. The reason for this is that you are continually compelled to adjust gravity as you fall. This means that momentum is important since you will carry your speed when switching. This is a problem because there are no visible clues to help you determine when to switch. The whole game becomes too repetitive with all the dying, especially when coins are added that allow you to swap again.
This is an extremely challenging platformer. Every gameplay element dev has designed is developed to offer the player the hardest challenges possible. Jumping, grabbing a coin, changing gravity - they all demand you to act in a very short reaction time and ridiculously precisely manner. It has 50 levels, and I only made it to level 32 and that was my limit there. If you enjoy games like Jump King I'm sure you will like this game too. It is a short game but it has a fair price. Reward you get for beating each level is one achievement and one famous quote.
