Doppelgänger

As a HoloStars EN fan and a long time fan of visual novels/otome games, I absolutely loved this game. I think this game can still be enjoyed by someone who isn't too familiar with the Tempus boys if you view it as a stand alone. Although I will say a great majority of the impact of specific routes comes from knowing who the boys are. It's short and somewhat linear, but makes up for that straightforward single ending with the horror aspects and some emotional beats. Great for a player who wants a quick, nice game. Do mind the warnings if you are sensitive. I was a bit confused by jumping straight in and being able to pick doors for routes rather than having in-game choices lead down to a route, but it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game. I do wish there was more to this with choices having greater impacts, multiple endings, more voice over lines (or voice over for endings), and/or lore (answers to some things in the game that were left/quickly wrapped up). I'd honestly pay for a part 2 in a heartbeat! It would be such a treat, however this game is satisfying and does go above expectations. On that note- I'd do anything for Huntsman! ;A;

It's short but truly incredible! I genuinely think even people who don't know what TEMPUS is can enjoy this game. It's seriously gratuitous with violence, but each moment of horror is truly beautiful. Best nightmare to be trapped in! Story is wonderful, thoughtful and emotion provoking. Art is absolutely gorgeous both in background, PV, and character art! The music is incredibly good and the sound design is solid. It was super fun to play and had me itching to do fanart and buy some copies for my non-tempura friends(time to convert). I'm even more terrified of Regis Altare in a way I didn't know was possible lol I can't thank the staff that worked on this and the TEMPUS boys enough!!!!

Why is the Exiled Prince kinda...

So, I finally decided to buy this game because it's about to be a couple of weeks without the boys. I have got to say the management's writing and directing of this whole project really blew it out of the park because I wasn't expecting to be THAT mind blown with all the routes. Sorta spoiler alert, but I recommend doing the Huntsman for last, and you'll understand what I mean. I loved it. I laughed, cried, and, not gonna lie, kind of lost my mind for a bit playing this game, but hell, it was so worth it! I hope projects like this can continue PRETTY PLEASE MANE-SANS PIENPIENPIEN !!!!!! Otsustars!!!!

amazing art and quality visual novel, i love the horribly unfunny showman and the yan abandoned automaton (the achievement with axel was pretty funny)

While brief, this was a nice thrill ride from start to finish, and some subgenres of horror are usually not my strong suit. Still, I braved my way through. Warning: Contents of the visual novel are not for the squeamish! If blood, death, or cannibalism unsettles you, there are other ways to support the holostars boys!
