Original card game = 8/10 This PC remake = 0/10 1. UI gives me cancer (seriously, the person who had designed it must have autism) 2. Bad servers (multi-player gives me cancer too. It is slow and stutters) 3. Tutorial sucks (big time. explains almost no mechanics, card features at all) 4. Greedy business model 5. Some cards lack proper image/graphics 6. I installed the game, launched it, opened a gifted pack of cards (5), found a legendary card (Cybertronic Warrior Vince Diamond), one day later they deleted this card from the list of the cards I supposedly "own". LOL Thanks for NOTHING! DO NOT BUY!! IT IS A MONEY-GRAB TRAP DESIGNED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR NOSTALGIA!! Devs are greedy as hell. They pretty much copied Hearthstone business model. However, where Hearthstone team creates 2-3 new detailed stories/sets every year, Doomtrooper (Steam) is badly optimized early access with no prospect of new original sets to be designed, painted and added in future. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Skin et licence très bien , mais l'interface est à revoir.Les messages d'erreur sont bienvenus pour signaler un mauvais usage des cartes. Historiquement c'est un jeu de cartes physiques sur table, cette version informatisée tente de fournir le même plaisir de jeu. Essayer de retrouver la jouabilité de la version SEGA playstation 1-2 des années 80-90 uniquement disponible en import et vous aurez une bonne version à améliorer. C'est un travail qui a été remarquablement fait sur la licence MAGIC THE GATHERING qui avait suivi le même support. Je recommande ce jeu s'il évolue vers ce que je propose, la musique sombre est bienvenue mais mériterait d'être un peu plus travaillée et variée, cela fait trop chip , trop facile...je sais les joueurs sont exigeants.

I grew up as a kid with Doom Troopers. No, not this, not the card game, no, what i grew up with, was this, Doom Troopers, on the Sega Megadrive, and i loved it, amazing, great game, way too the hell short though, but i had great fun with my cousin playing co-op on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVpWqlrzCBk i wanted to see if the game finaly got ported on here to steam, and it is not, but i did discover this though, and realize, the game is actualy based off of a card game??? Huh, i never knew, only recently found out about this, only because of the Sega Megadrive game, dont think i would had otherwise. So i tried this digital version of the card game out, i checked out litearly everything there is to offer, and i am not impressed. Theres virtualy no players, the game is severely lacking in sound, visual, effect, animation and feedback departments & areas, the performance is horrible for some reason, just a few guys get placed on a board and it starts chugging, struggling to move, the frame rates, what the hell. So uhm, yeah, with no players to fight, and just randomish AI to fight, with one fight, i think ive had my fill of it, maybe the card game isnt that good, its unusual and unique to be fair & sure, but is it actualy good? Eeeerh... not the worst, far, far from the best though... mediocre at the very least. I just wished the Mega Drive game was ported on here atleast but i have to assume it isnt because of time, budget, skill constraints or something, or wouldnt make the money back or whatever, pitty, but, then again, its impossible to play from the keyboard anyway, lol. Cool art too though, looks very Warhammer 40kish, which i also only discovered, like 4 years ago, thanks to Bricky's explanaitions. Albeit some stuff looked/looks wierd to me like the native americans or whatever, i think from the Capitol faction or whatever, hahah. Shame this universe didnt blow up into popularity like Warhammer, *sigh* but, ah well. Speaking of Warhammer, i wish Doom Trooper, i wish it had a All Doom Trooper Factions Explained By Bricky, like he did for Warhammer 40K, fantastic introduction to the universe back in 2020.

A fun game faithful to the idea of the Doomtrooper CCG. Updated with signed and sealed approval from Bryan Winter himself to make changes to make it a better more modern game. Bryan even designed some of the changes.
