DOOMBRINGER

The level design seems good... not a whole lot of detail or variety, but the 90's game design certainly does shine through. The pacing is fast with smoothed out par-core movement (nothing too crazy though). It reminded me of games like Quake II and Unreal Tournament. The characters (enemies) seem ok for the most part, but the gun sounds, models, and skins need work... specifically the shotgun. Since the game is in "early access," I hope the game goes through more development and avoids becoming another "bargain bin special." I paid $15 (which is too much for the game right now). But "early access" potential might make it worth your time.

I thought the game might have you know guns in it not fist that barley even work. FPS with out the S.

Coop und Multiplayer interessieren mich nicht. Zu stressig. Warte auf die letzten 3 Episoden. warte... warte... warte... Wie viele Jahre muss ich noch warten. Scheiß Early Access.

Coop Spaß ist garantiert.

After playing it again I've changed my review to positive, it's a shame the game seems abandoned (though there are still rumors in 2025 that episode 2 is still in development) because it's a pretty good if basic Quake clone (Quake II to be specific), there's just not that much here. It needs more meat on those bloody bones. Movement is fast and aiming is tight, though there's no crouch nor is there any kind of boost/blast/kick jump, and the game could really use it. It's just simple arenas, nothing fancy, with the typical light puzzle solving and secret areas and lots of chumps to blast. It's nothing special, but I'm still hoping there's more, it's fun enough if you like the style.

Recommended to anyone into instant action.
