DO NOT PLAY THIS TRASH The gae only have 37 levels, up to human, then stop ... In 2018, devs stated that they WILL make it longer, tey just needed a little more time ... well ... it's 2023 ... not sure they know what "a little more time" means ... or they just don't care, your choice ...
Doodle God: Alchemy Jam, developed and published by Dikobraz Games, is a casual puzzle experience that takes the core idea of the long-running Doodle God franchise and condenses it into a compact adventure focused on experimentation, creativity, and discovery. The game challenges players to act as a creator, combining basic elements to form increasingly complex objects, creatures, technologies, and civilizations. While its scope is more modest than some other entries in the series, it successfully captures the addictive sense of progression that has made the Doodle God formula popular with puzzle fans for years. The game's premise is both simple and appealing. Players begin with only a handful of elemental forces and gradually build an entire world through logical combinations. Fire, water, earth, and air serve as the starting point, but these basic ingredients quickly evolve into plants, animals, tools, transportation, architecture, and much more. The joy of the experience comes from experimentation. Every new discovery unlocks additional possibilities, encouraging players to continuously search for fresh combinations and expand their growing catalog of creations. One of the most satisfying aspects of Doodle God: Alchemy Jam is the feeling of progression. Every successful combination acts as a reward and a new opportunity at the same time. Creating a simple object often leads to several additional discoveries, creating a chain reaction that keeps players engaged. This constant sense of advancement is what drives the entire experience. Even the smallest breakthrough can open the door to dozens of future possibilities, making the game difficult to put down once momentum begins to build. The puzzle design is rooted in a blend of logic and imagination. Some combinations feel intuitive and scientifically grounded, while others embrace mythology, folklore, and fantasy concepts. This mixture creates a world where practical inventions coexist with legendary creatures and symbolic ideas. The variety keeps the gameplay fresh because players are never entirely certain whether the next discovery will come from real-world logic or creative interpretation. This unpredictability becomes one of the game's greatest strengths. Unlike many puzzle games that rely on strict objectives or time limits, Doodle God: Alchemy Jam encourages experimentation at a relaxed pace. Players are free to test combinations without pressure, allowing curiosity to become the primary motivation. The game rewards exploration rather than speed, making it an ideal choice for players who enjoy solving problems through observation and trial-and-error thinking. This laid-back approach contributes significantly to the game's accessibility and broad appeal. The world-building aspect adds another layer of satisfaction. Watching a barren collection of elements gradually transform into a thriving civilization creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment. As more discoveries are unlocked, players witness the growth of technology, culture, and society. The progression from primitive elements to advanced creations helps create the feeling of actively shaping an evolving world rather than merely solving isolated puzzles. Visually, the game maintains the colorful and playful style that fans of the series have come to expect. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and designed to keep attention focused on experimentation. Icons are clearly recognizable, making it easy to browse through available elements and identify potential combinations. While the presentation is relatively simple, it serves the gameplay effectively and supports the casual nature of the experience. The audio design follows a similarly understated approach. Light background music accompanies the gameplay without becoming intrusive, helping establish a relaxed atmosphere that encourages experimentation. Sound effects provide satisfying feedback whenever a successful discovery is made, reinforcing the sense of achievement that accompanies each breakthrough. Accessibility is one of the game's strongest qualities. The concept is easy to understand, and players can begin creating new elements almost immediately. There are no complicated mechanics, difficult controls, or steep learning curves to overcome. This simplicity allows the game to appeal to a wide audience, from younger players discovering puzzle games for the first time to experienced fans of the franchise looking for a casual diversion. However, the game's greatest weakness is its relatively limited scope. Compared to larger Doodle God releases, Alchemy Jam feels more like a condensed interpretation of the formula rather than a fully expanded entry. The available content can be exhausted relatively quickly by dedicated players, and there are moments when the experience feels as though it could have benefited from additional systems, more combinations, or a larger progression framework. The game's experimental nature is also apparent in its overall structure. While the core mechanics remain enjoyable, there is a sense that the title functions more as a streamlined spin-off than a major installment. Players familiar with the broader series may find themselves wishing for deeper mechanics, larger worlds, or more extensive discovery trees. The foundations are solid, but the game occasionally feels restrained by its smaller ambitions. Another minor issue is that progression can sometimes become dependent on guesswork rather than deduction. Although many combinations follow logical patterns, others require a degree of experimentation that may lead to periods of trial and error. For some players, this unpredictability enhances the experience, while others may occasionally find it frustrating when progress slows. Despite these limitations, the core gameplay remains remarkably engaging. The simple act of combining two elements and discovering something unexpected continues to provide genuine satisfaction. Few puzzle games capture the same feeling of creativity and exploration, and Doodle God: Alchemy Jam successfully demonstrates why the formula has remained appealing across multiple releases. Ultimately, Doodle God: Alchemy Jam is a charming and accessible puzzle game that celebrates curiosity and imagination. Its world-building mechanics, steady progression, and rewarding discovery system create a relaxing experience that remains entertaining throughout its duration. While its smaller scale prevents it from becoming the definitive version of the Doodle God concept, it still delivers plenty of enjoyment for players who appreciate experimentation and creative problem-solving. For fans of alchemy-based puzzles, casual strategy games, and sandbox-style discovery mechanics, Doodle God: Alchemy Jam offers an engaging journey filled with surprises and satisfying moments of creation. It may not be the largest entry in the franchise, but it successfully captures the spirit of turning simple ideas into an entire world one discovery at a time. Rating: 5/10

No time for a detailed review so I give this game a rank D. Mediocre game - sadly you can forget it.. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: trust the reviews. Do you like Doodle God? go do that game instead. This is ... I don't know what this is. It should have been like a tutorial/guide/spoiler introduction to the main game, offered for free. Admittedly, it is very cheap, but the way Doodle God became so cash grab orientated is saddening, the concept was awesome. This is just bad, bad game design.
