This has been an experience I've been looking for without realizing it A ditzy, girly, high speed movement shooter with great satirical commentary on actually rather dark events This is the first game in a long time that has made me physically sweat by playing it and I love it Haven't felt that way since I played doom eternal for the first time I absolutely love all the gun concepts, I fell in love with the characters,
Especially Tommy I love you Tommy
I will say that the game definitely needs a good bit of polish, just little things like weird places to catch on while moving through the maps or interacting with interactibles. Looking past that best I can, this was such a wonderful game to play
AND THAT ENDING?? oh my god the final parkour being flying straight up into beams of purple sunset light in that massive space by spawning your own grapple points mid air??? WITH THE MUSIC, it was just magicacl
You definitely need to engage with the mechanics if you want to get anywhere on the standard difficulty. Underneath the bubbly exterior it is actually quite mechanically demanding. Once you learn the game you'll be breezing through with satisfying smoothness and speed.
I had a good time with this game and there are a number of things that draw me in. I do have a couple problems with the game being that the many enemies blend into the background given that the game is mostly different shades of pink. Also, platforming is a little rough as your FOV is small and gets larger with speed. I don't usually have a big problem with first person platforming and these sections themselves are alright barring the FOV thing. The game has a lot to love though. The customization of arms and weapons is very open and unrestricting, The combat is uniquely fun, the music is great, the characters are solid, the voice acting nice and the 2000's look and vibe is cool. It felt more like a fresh uniquely memorable gimmick across most categories than it was flat out great but it doesn't overstay its welcome. I had fun but I feel a slight bit of indifference.
Playing this on LSD and seeing it developed by Strayans retriggered my childhood autoantipodephilia in me, I want to be an Aussie Sheila now!
Not just for girls. I appreciate this pop!

Estive querendo esse jogo dês da primeira vez que vi o trailer. Não estou desapontada. De primeira o controle é um pouco difícil, mas depois que você pega é muito satisfatório.
Banger Game
Don't Stop, Girlypop! or ULTRAKILL but instead of blood you're fueled by glitter and 2000s white girl music
Loooove this game! One of my faves seriously wish there was more
