Recommended? Not Yet. It needs a lot of balancing; Upgrade prices make zero sense and it gets uninteresting far too quickly. You get punished if you are too strong because the XP orbs are too far apart and there is only one 3 minute "grab all XP" I saw so far. The Bosses are strong breakpoints but might keep the game interesting. The menu is not very user friendly. Some of the buttons (volume, character parts) go up with a left click but should also go down with a right click. It would help to make the price for upgrades better visible and maybe grey them out if you can't afford them. There should also be a spell check that runs on all the text in the game but there's no point in doing so while it is so deep in development. Will definitely revisit the game in some time!

I've had fun with this game, but it's now abandoned - massive bugs, unattainable achievements, RNGfest, etc.
this game is everything a a game needs 1.no in app purchases 2. offline play ability 3.rewarding system 4.killing pigeons
Not so bad.
Great promise if it was actually updated.
if only this was relisted and updated. the art and playstyle are genuinely intriguing, but it's very barebones as is and won't receive further updates, it looks like.
A bit of fun for a short while but unfortunately it looks like the game was abandoned by the dev.
Game abandoned, won't even launch for some, if it does, it's riddled with bugs.

Don't ♥♥♥♥ On My #!$@& Roof
This game is currently not available for sale on steam but I wanted to review it anyway since I have hopes it will come back eventually Don't ♥♥♥♥ On My #!$@& Roof is a bullet-heaven that takes the core gameplay of the genre, adds an interesting twist on the gameplay loop and is in the theme of slaying pigeons that want to ♥♥♥♥ on your roof. It's funny, It's different but ultimately it needed a little more time in the oven to hone in on what makes it good. For now consider this a mixed review, but cannot fault the developers because legal trouble has caused them to have to take the game down from steam.
Gameplay
The core gameplay is the same as Vampire Survivors and the like: kill enemies and take upgrades, with the twist that you also have to defend and upgrade your home. Enemies will fly towards you, but some will also fly towards your home, you lose a heart if you either get hit or a pigeon ♥♥♥♥♥ on your roof. Enemies drop 2 types of exp: player exp and house exp. Levelling up the player can give you abilities that trigger based on the shots of your main weapon, they are split into magic/bullet/summon classes, most of these upgrades give damage to other weapons in the same class. House upgrades are a completely separate set of weapons that fire out from your house instead of yourself. All abilities have 4 different upgrades that can appear in any order, which I really enjoy. There are 11 characters in the game that all functionally play the same, different starting weapons and quirks but that's about it. There are 2 maps which I believe are functionally identical, general gameplay lasts 20 minutes but you can also select endless. In a run you face a bunch of enemies and bosses, all enemies are visually distinct so you always know what you are facing, there are 8 different bosses in the game, they all have different attack patterns and are fairly unique, a few of them feel too similar too each other so I wouldn't mind those changing. Bosses can currently get stuck on the opposite side of the house and are easily killed. There is also a difficulty level called curse that goes up to 10, you unlock the next levels by beating the last. To help make these easier you can gain meta-upgrades with Dusts, these are mostly stat changes but you can gain an extra upgrade choice which is very useful.
Achievements (89/89)
The achievements aren't difficult, just a little time consuming. Surviving until 21 minutes in normal mode just requires you to not kill the final boss so the run doesn't end before 21 minutes. The rest are self explanatory.
Music/sound
There is a music track for each map and I don't think they fit the game too well, they are very repetitive and it gets quite annoying after a lot of runs.
Settings/Accessibility/Misc
You have the ability to turn off both auto-shoot and auto-aim if you want to manually aim. The game has twitch integration but I don't know exactly what it does. The game also has workshop support for people to post localization, so maybe one day if this game does come back it could eventually get mod support.
TL;DR
Interesting take on the bullet-heaven genre, fun double upgrade system, fun bosses, easy achievements and a few bugs, ultimately it needed a little more time before it unfortunately got taken down, but I hope it does come back.
