Its not a bad game but it seems very limited for what you are getting out of a rogue-like game. It feels very limited in the game mechanics. You dig, you fight, and that's about it. There are only 2 character types with the base game. The assessor has some special abilities that make him interesting to use and the engineer... well he digs faster then the Assessor. Combat is pretty straight forward. The biggest selling point are a number of filters that can be used in combination to modify each run to be a very different experience.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I hoped to like it but after 6 hours it started to already get repetitive. It's always the same gameloop: 1. mine 2. go back up during wave 3. defend 4. go back down But what really killed my mood was that it took 10+ seconds to mine deeper rocks while having the mining skill already maxed...
The DLC should've been apart of the original game. If anything it should have been released as FreeLC.
Dome Keeper has an interesting idea, but it quickly becomes repetitive and boring. Every run feels the same, with little variety or meaningful progression. The gameplay turns into a tiring grind, and the excitement fades fast. Despite its nice pixel art, I found it dull overall and wouldn't recommend it, even on sale.
Not a bad game, but the novelty has petered out very quickly - mining has only a few decent strategies, upgrades are more "good" or "bad" rather than interesting options, and unlocks are... Either just making it easier, or slight variation that doesn't change the overall game too much.
Incroyable ce jeu ! Achète ou j'te bute.
Oyun gözəldir amma əlinizin altında kölə varsa iki nəfərlik oynamaq üçün ikiqat maraqlı olur. İŞLƏ KÖLƏƏƏ İŞLƏƏƏƏ!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dome Keeper is a worthy entry in the genre and worth checking out on sale! Made by German Indie developers, this game among all the roguelikes stands out as one of the best. The tower defense mechanic combined with mining works surprisingly well. I have played "Wall World (2023)" first and absolutely fell in love with the concept and beautiful pixel art. Dome Keeper came out a year earlier and that's what caught my eye but not enough to hold my interest. The game seemed far slower, grindier and lacked a story. All things which Wall World had. But with the most recent multiplayer update, this game has truly been elevated to the next level! Playing with others requires everyone to own a game copy, but playing split-screen can be done on a single copy. Issue is, one player is forced to play with keyboard while the other player is Forced to play with gamepad?! Why? - Regarding the DLC, the game already has 2 "support-the-devs" packs called Engineer and Assessor, that's good. But the huge Lost Keepers DLC which locks 2 playable characters, Never goes on meaningful sales!! To be honest, I liked Wall World more than Dome Keeper and don't hold that much love for it, so I can live without having experienced the Lost Keepers, but if the price would have been right I might have checked it out. Meh. The game leans in a bit too much into the roguelike and abandons any and all story and lore. Someday they'll make Dome Keeper 2 and I hope they'll improve on all these aspects. This game is ACTUALLY GOOD, but I personally could not bring myself to truly love it like I love Wall World.
Coop/multiplayer runs with friends unlock lots of game content, so invitate as many friends as game allows, decide strategy and start drilling. Unfortunately, for now, I didn't have a chance to try the competition mode. Pets are nice, but the dome lacks a room or pub to grab a beer with teammates. Rock and Stone, miners! The host only needs to have the DLC and share content with friends during runs.
