Doggy Up!

As I understand the game is not too long, perhaps this is even a plus, speedrunners should appreciate it.

On the plus side is the price and a nice platforming, on the minus side the game is certainly boring for me. The music in the game is nice, most likely it would be better suited to some space game, but okay.

I found the game monotonous, but considering it was made by one person, it's not bad

A cheap indie platformer with good graphics, I liked it

It's a good plat-former, not too much to expect but I had fun playing it and was looking forward to playing

This game maybe looks simple and cheap (even for the image that can look AI but looks great and I don't mind it). But overall the game offers a good experience for the price and not clunky controls. I'm sure people wants the bark/woof button, but playing with controller (Xbox controller I used) it works so well, the platfoming is better than expected, the view of controlling a dog maybe can be a litte confusing compared to other similar games where you control an human character. The story plot is quite simple, not that silly but gets to the point and the purpose, it's interesting the game can be challenging on some parts but feels relaxing, it's not a game that can make you to rage a lot because has checkpoints, that helps a lot for impatient people. The small challenges is a nice plus (the jumps and races) and dealing with some enemies is good, not annoying or being on places that mess you a lot. Probably the camera view is not the best on certain cramped places but nothing difficult, aside that the camera gets close when you change windows, or places where you run but the surfaces makes the dog to stop, but nothing (on my side) that breaks the game. Maybe I do a long review but I enjoyed this, a decent platformer made for one person that put enough effort to offer a decent game to spend time, not a masterpiece but a decent product, not too long but great for platforming practice and for people who likes to speedrun.

It's nice to jump on blocks that have physics, I don't remember seeing that anywhere. The game does not lag.

Man weiß nicht ganz was Doggy Up! von einem Möchte, wird immer wieder mit kurzen stupiden herausforderungen konfrontiert welche einem Erfahrung geben sollen, aber am Ende nur prozentweise wirklich Auswirkungen haben. Grafik ist okay und erinnert mich stellenweise an Mirrors Edge aber in absolut Low Budget. Erst nach 20 Minuten kamen wir wirklich an den "Only Up" Teil während wir locker 20 Minuten davor wie eine Art Tutorial an die Mechaniken des Spiels gewöhnt wurden.
