Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle.

Cute cozy game for Disney lovers. If you like farming and decorating games, this one is for you and will make you spend lots of hours in the Valley.

There’s is no point to multiplayer. I bought it on different consoles in order to play multiplayer but it’s so restricted there’s absolutely no point.
I'm so tired of having to restart this game because villagers have disappeared with no trace and/or aren't able to be talked to because of the bugs and glitches. PLEASE I beg you, STOP releasing money grabs and fix the bugs of the game!! It's a very fun and cute game, but it's almost unplayable at times. With the base game and all the expansions (not even including the micro purchases) this game costs over $120 and to not even be able to play it half the time is ridiculous. You cannot expect people to spend that much money on your game and have to keep restarting it.
Multiplayer being locked behind so many quests is crazy
Maybe I'm missing something but after 20 hours the entire gameplay loop is, nothing? Do quest > Earn currency > Buy/Build thing > Collect dailies > That's it. That's the entire game. It feels like lazy Disney themed Animal Crossing without the quirky characters and added microtransactions. The entire point is doing all this stuff to keep being able to afford doing more stuff, there's no real payoff other than story from the NPCs and cosmetics/building a little town of Disney characters. If you enjoy grinding where the grind is the reward then yeah probably a good game for you. If you're the aforementioned and you enjoy the entire Disney catalog then ho boy are you gonna love this. But for $40 I just expected a lot more. For $40 + 3x $20 DLCs, I would have rather had something like Disneyland Adventures mixed with this and I actually didn't know that was on Steam and kinda wish I would've bought that instead. Like I enjoy the older Disney IPs, I enjoy the Disney parks, but from my 20 hours with this game I experienced neither and it just seemed like the game wants so much of your time for the most basic and minimal of rewards aka lore/story that most players skip over anyways.
