About
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.
Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle.
Now it’s up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley!
Free the Dream Castle from the insidious grip of the Forgetting, and unlock the unique Realms of well-loved Disney and Pixar characters, including great queens and kings such as Anna and Simba. Each Realm contains unique challenges with puzzles to solve in the quest to bring friendship back to the Valley.
You’ll start your adventure in the Valley, but your journey will take you to infinity… and beyond! Explore what lurks in the Forest of Valor and brave the deepest caverns as you take on challenges from iconic Disney and Pixar heroes and villains. Who knows who—or what—you might discover.
Garden with WALL•E, cook with Remy or kick back and fish with Goofy. What better way to collect, craft, and rebuild the Valley than with a friend! From beautiful princesses to nefarious villains, every Dreamlight Valley resident brings their own story arc, quests, and rewards. Meet up in daily hangouts and make friends with some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters..
Return Dreamlight Valley to its former greatness by making it your own. In Dreamlight Valley, you can build the perfect neighborhood that is just for you with a fully customizable layout, creative landscaping, and thousands of decorative items.
Will you settle on the Beach next to Moana, or call Buzz Lightyear your next-door neighbor in the Plaza?
Bring out your inner princess, villain, or Disney bounder! Assemble unique outfits and decorate your home with thousands of fantastic items. Using the Touch of Magic tool, you can even create your own designs with Disney- and Pixar-inspired decals!
With the in-game Camera, get ready to snap a sunset selfie with Mirabel, capture a culinary creation with Remy, or simply cherish a moment.
New content means that there's always something fresh to explore. Meet new characters in the Valley, check out the latest clothing and furniture collections in Scrooge’s Store, and complete challenging in-game events! Be sure to dream your way back to Dreamlight Valley regularly to discover new adventures!

This is one of those games I always find myself coming back to. I absolutely love how relaxing it is. Spending time helping Disney villagers, decorating, gathering resources, and slowly improving the valley feels incredibly cozy without ever becoming stressful. I've played this on PC and Steam Deck and I have zero complaints; it runs great on both. 10/10 would recommend!
j'aime bien
è il gioco più rilassante che conosco.
The perfect chill game after a long day of work. Escapism at its best.
Top GAME
excellent chill game to play at your own pace, can be played across devices and lets you interact with lots of Disney characters
This game is like playing a farming simulator where everyone in the village weaponizes incompetence. At one point, the player character says, "UGH. I have to do EVERYTHING around here." AND THEY AIN'T WRONG. Mickey wants to give Minnie flowers? Go pick them, craft the vase, and give them to Minnie for him. How thoughtful of MICKEY! No wonder this ♥♥♥♥♥ is depressed. But my main criticism is how hard they bottleneck your progression by making you farm ridiculous amounts or iron ore for quests (an item that drops RANDOMLY from mining spots) and has a ♥♥♥♥♥ conversion rate when crafting. Now stop reading this review and go farm more pumpkins, you peasant. Moana's fish farm ain't paying for itself.
Animal Crossing Wearin' a Disney Skin
The Verdict: An incredibly addictive, cozy life simulator that takes the exact blueprint of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, injects it with an aggressive dose of Disney nostalgia, and fixes a lot of the annoying inventory bottlenecks that made Nintendo's version a chore.

The Comparison: Why It Is Literally Animal Crossing with Mickey Ears
The Village Baby-Sitting Loop: The core gameplay loop is identical to Animal Crossing. You arrive in a neglected, overgrown valley, clear out weeds (or in this case, "Night Thorns"), place down furniture, build houses, and manage a town filled with anthropomorphic neighbors. Instead of Tom Nook and Isabelle, your main landlord is Merlin, and Scrooge McDuck is literally running the local general store, selling you overpriced wallpaper and couches. Real-Time Cozy Tasks: You spend hours doing the exact same daily chores: fishing in ponds, mining rock spots for gems, digging up buried treasures, and planting crops. It has that exact same mesmerizing, brain-melting "just five more minutes" loop that makes cozy games dangerous. Extensive Customization: The clothing and furniture customization systems are massive. You can design your own outfits and completely terraform the valley, decorating different biomes (like a beach, a swamp, or a frozen forest) to match whatever aesthetic you want.

Where It Actually Beats Nintendo's Blueprint
No Tool Durability ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥: Thank Christ, your shovels, fishing rods, and pickaxes do not randomly shatter into pieces after twenty uses. You get your royal tools at the start, and they stay with you forever, completely removing the most annoying aspect of modern Animal Crossing. Actual Story and Quest Lines: Instead of just aiming for a 5-star island rating with no real context, Disney characters actually have distinct personality quests, level-up tracks, and ongoing storylines. Hanging out with Remy to unlock recipes or helping Wall-E build a garden gives the grinding a genuine sense of purpose. The Nostalgia Factor: If you grew up on Disney or Pixar, the game weaponizes nostalgia perfectly. Wandering around a valley while a beautifully orchestrated, lo-fi version of "A Whole New World" or "Under the Sea" plays in the background is incredibly comforting.

The Catch: The Modern Live-Service Trap
The Premium Shop Fright: Because it was originally planned to be free-to-play before pivoting to a paid premium title, the game still has the annoying DNA of a mobile game. There is a premium currency (Moonstones), a rotating microtransaction shop for cool houses/skins, and a seasonal "Star Path" (Battle Pass) that forces you to grind tedious chores on a timer if you want the coolest limited-time items.

The Bottom Line: Disney Dreamlight Valley doesn't try to hide what it is. It stole Animal Crossing's lunch, wrapped it in a glossy Disney skin, and added some much-needed quality-of-life upgrades. If you want a cozy, low-stress game where you can cook meals with Remy, mine iron ore with Kristoff, and yell at Mother Gothel for being a toxic neighbor, this is an absolute must-play.
