About
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.
Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle.
Now it’s up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley!
Free the Dream Castle from the insidious grip of the Forgetting, and unlock the unique Realms of well-loved Disney and Pixar characters, including great queens and kings such as Anna and Simba. Each Realm contains unique challenges with puzzles to solve in the quest to bring friendship back to the Valley.
You’ll start your adventure in the Valley, but your journey will take you to infinity… and beyond! Explore what lurks in the Forest of Valor and brave the deepest caverns as you take on challenges from iconic Disney and Pixar heroes and villains. Who knows who—or what—you might discover.
Garden with WALL•E, cook with Remy or kick back and fish with Goofy. What better way to collect, craft, and rebuild the Valley than with a friend! From beautiful princesses to nefarious villains, every Dreamlight Valley resident brings their own story arc, quests, and rewards. Meet up in daily hangouts and make friends with some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters..
Return Dreamlight Valley to its former greatness by making it your own. In Dreamlight Valley, you can build the perfect neighborhood that is just for you with a fully customizable layout, creative landscaping, and thousands of decorative items.
Will you settle on the Beach next to Moana, or call Buzz Lightyear your next-door neighbor in the Plaza?
Bring out your inner princess, villain, or Disney bounder! Assemble unique outfits and decorate your home with thousands of fantastic items. Using the Touch of Magic tool, you can even create your own designs with Disney- and Pixar-inspired decals!
With the in-game Camera, get ready to snap a sunset selfie with Mirabel, capture a culinary creation with Remy, or simply cherish a moment.
New content means that there's always something fresh to explore. This is likely my favorite video game. I've beaten it and two of the DLC's on my PS4, but it was very laggy and there were limitations on that system. I have 408 hours in the game there and am starting entirely over here. If you love classic Disney and want an almost Animal Crossing like game for it, you'll love this.
It's a very fun game with fun challenges.
I love this game! It has a charming and wholesome feel. The nostalgia aspect creates an instant bond with the game. I love the way that you control the pace and direction that you go in your game. No matter what you are working on in the game, it always gives you such a feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment when you complete it. I am only 5 hours in, but this game has brought me such joy.
I like it. It's a pretty darn good game. Not a fan of the micro-transactions, but they happen. Gameplay is smooth, Character designs are pleasant, Voices are on par, story is rich. Gameplay is pretty accessible if you have trouble with pressing buttons. A pretty nice game overall in general. Personally I am a bit annoyed at the incomplete character sets. So many characters, but so many incomplete sets. For example we have Hades and Pegasus from 2 *separate* DLC's and the recent update adds Hercules and Phil, but no Megara. We have Stitch, but no Jumba, Pleakley, or Lilo and Nani. We have Tiana, but no Naveen, Louie, Ray, or even Charlotte. Just so many missing well loved characters. The environmental lore is also a bit odd compared to it's content. The environment, especially in the "Rift in Time" DLC has a TON of Atlantian alphabet and tech connected to it, but we have no Milo, Kida, or any ATLE characters. There are also a few DLC lands that would fit characters (Like Tarzan and jane) that are not included and It's just off in a sense. My hopes are that they will do a sort of big Sci-Fi DLC and add all the ATLE characters, as well as Treasure Planet characters, Maybe even add Meet the Robinsons, as well as Jumba and Pleakley to semi finish the Lilo and Stitch set. Overall I would mostly just like to see more character sets being completed before we get any more major paid DLC's.
