Disgaea 2 PC

I really liked disgaea series but no idea why i am not playing this one and in chapter 4 i cannot go on anymore... I played 4 disgaea games so far 1 and the spin offs and enjoyed myself. But this one i might never play any more disgaea

I have no idea how much i played this back on PS2, but it was a lot. Definitely recommended for anybody who hasnt tried it before, especially fans of other Disgaea games. 7.5/10

Disgaea 2 is lacking in the lovable character and story moments the first had and a shorter story, a few QoL updates make it a far more enjoyable and smoother progression for characters growth. I'm unsure why but a lot of the stages felt like a slog because of the overuse of Geo Panels making nearly every stage a slight annoyance in some fashion. I found myself a few times putting the game down purely because i had to mentally force myself through a specific stage, The geo panels were rarely used in a creative way and set to just annoy. (a ton of instances are the entire stage being covered in an enemy buff and the geo panel to destroy would be on the other side of the map, and too bad lifting/throwing is on the list of you cant do that and x3 enemy stats.) overall i enjoy the disgaea games so far but 2 has been weaker in every aspect except mechanics. on to 3!!!!

It's the tactics game that I keep coming back to. I really like the story in this one, and the mechanics don't get overly complicated until later games.
