Discrepant is a psychological adventure game set in a dystopic sci-fi world that is slowly unwinding. It's dark, deadly, and unsettling. It explores the meaning of existence and purpose, challenges reality and emotional connection through a complex plot, and comes with a twist around every corner.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Tutorial was much more interesting than the actual game (or at least its opening 30 minutes). Wandered around for a bit in the house, got confused and stumbled through a few puzzles. Then I walked out the front door and a lens flare came down from the sky and caught me in an infinite death loop. Game Over. Lighting seems unfinished. Without power the house still seemed to be illuminated rather well, to the point that I saw no visible difference between unilt vs using the lighter (just more shadows and an orange tint, no difference in visibility). Atmosphere seemed overall lacking.

Trash.
A while ago I decided this game looks interesting finally decided to play this game, for what's in it not bad considering. Yes there are bugs, I was not able to complete the game so can't speak of the whole entirety of it. It's a free game your not losing anything playing it. Here's at least a few tips from what I played:

Don't try unequip your watch it will fill your inventory (duplicates)
Don't try open inventory while paused it will break the game
You will get stuck running climb onto an object to stop
To move the radio DO NOT PICK IT UP (once picked up can't seem to drop it)
Sewers are a bit unfinished so be careful the power switch will break your inventory unability to tab (this is where i ended up stuck unable to progress further)
