As some one with DJ experience, the DJ mechanic isn't realistic at all. It makes me cry a little when i try to beat match and it's just a total train wreck every time. When you start to ignore that and just play the game, this is a really cute and enjoyable crowd and time management game with lots of little things to unlock as you progress through the career. I paid $2.56 CAD for it, no regrets.

This early release is pretty basic, but I really liked it! Basically you have to play music to keep people entertained in a night club scene. To earn more money, you have to play the right coloured vinyl depending on the moods of the people in the room. When the clock hits 9, you're given a score, and everyone leaves. The creators of this game did a good job at making the player feel like they're a DJ. The room is small, and props are pretty basic and minimal, but it still had that night club feel. Little touches such as the audience throwing coins at you when they're happy, and poop at you when they're mad, really gave it character. One gripe, I wish there was a way to skip the dialogue (or maybe the bartender could be given vocals?) For a free title, 100% recommended!
First funtional and working game I played with a windows acer mixed reality headset, I really I enjoy the experiance. Nice audio experinace and the micro management keeping the crowd happy was fun. 8/10 for the hour expeiance and will defo play it again at some point. With some added interaction on the turntables and maybe some added engagment scenerios with the crowd you'll have a banging hit! Also amazing price.
The new Late Access version is a BIG improvement over the older free 'Early Access' version and definately worth buying. My Son & I have been playing this all day. Below is our honest feedback. The great things are: - + The graphics are much better. The people look really good & respond better to their moods. + The atmosphere is better. The disco lights really add to the scene. + I love the new record crate system. It is so much better than the waiting for a record to appear in a cloud of smoke like in the older free version. That used to be frustrating waiting to the very last second for a record to appear. + I like the extra crate unlocks. It gives you something to work towards & really help the crowd get pumping. + I like being able to teleport around the disco and seeing all the new graphics and environment. You can even go in the toilets area. The things that could do with improvement: - - I found the first/front records in each side of the crate a little hard to grab at times. The controllers wanted to grab the second row instead of the first. Suggestions / New features: - * It would be awesome if smooth crossfader transitions could be rewarded with an instant visual/money reward with text & voice feedback like "Good Fade", "Great Fade", "Fading like a Pro!", "That got the party jumping" (and have the crowd jumping when dancing). Bad / quick slam over fades could be penalised with minus money or something like that. * Same with great record choices having an instant visual/money reward feedback that really feels rewarding. * I would love to see the ability to buy a new crossfader/mixer that has advanced features like high pass / low pass cutoffs. Real DJ's use these music effects all the time to send a crowd into a frenzy. Being able to cut off the bass and then drop the bass back in the middle song is what the drives the peeps crazy. My final words: - Support the devs. They are a small team that are very active on their discord server. They have created a fresh and new VR experience. In a VR field dominated by boring wave based shooters, this is a worthy VR experience to play and support. I really look forward to all the new features, the new story mode (hopefully a real story based journey from a small start out DJ to a huge packed stadium sensation mega DJ) and just where this game could end up. There are so many possibilities for this game, which is why it is so exciting. Buy this now, you wont regret it!
This is a nice little game where you play the DJ in a run-down club. Gameplay is fairly simple in the beginning, but you get more and more upgrades as you successfully play one record after the other, matching the crowd's mood, so you have a lot more options to hype the crowd and make them spend more money later. As someone who used to DJ with vinyls a bit in the past, I think I'd like it better if the records of the different "moods" would more accurately reflect different styles and were also beat-synched, so you'd get a better feeling of playing a super impressive set, like DJ Hero did it. But I guess this is not what this game wants to do, it rather has some fun with the fact that you can have a fun night dancing even in the most run-down juke joint, as long as the vibe is right. Anyhow, for the low selling price of this game, who would complain - Support your local Indie Devs :D

Great game, Suggestion: Should alsp include restart button as switching menus combersome , Also my kid wanted to play the game but he coulnt reach anything as hes too small to reach the table, maybe have a calibration of some sort. You should also put a Bouncer that when dancer get to agressive, you can kick him out (would be cool and funny at same time). Maybe also be able to trow bananas on the floor to get always bored dancer out of the way ;)
Simple game where you have to change the music to keep the club happy. One of those very original games with a very unique concept. You are a DJ in a Club, and you change the music to keep you patrons happy and spending money. The game mechanics are pretty easy to get, you can play each song once, and you have to play a new disk before the old one ends, you can only play and pause the songs, no rewind, no forward, no repeating it. I dont think i found 2 songs that would "fit" together so you could do a "proper" mix, each time a Night is finished you can buy more songs or some upgrades, all in all its as far as i know a one of a kind game. The game is free and it has its charm, so i recommend it to anyone that wants to hear some nice tunes
