Dimensional Rift

Here we have a decent arcade VR game that isn’t yet another wave shooter! You block or slice incoming orbs using your trusty beam shield and sword. Don’t let to many orbs get past you, or they’ll destroy the door behind you, and that’s game over! Graphics are basic, but not bad. Sound/music is noticeably absent, so I played some music while slicing orbs. Gameplay is pretty fun and a bit addicting. Plus, it’s free? Absolutely thumbs: UP!

Good execution! It's not finished, it lacks the minimum requirement for being a game instead of a demo that is, at least, the leaderboards. But the core is great. The sword feels really great, the movement and the lighting is perfect. The collisions are good and the voice acting too. You feel really great slicing orbs. The difficulty feels perfect and it advance a very good pace. Some bugs like not detecting well the combos. What happens when you lose is improvable too.

When I purchased this game I didn't realize it would be so difficult. It has a lot of debris coming at you at peculiar patterns simultaneously and at a rather quick pace. Most can be chopped with the sword. The exception is the bomb which must be blocked with the shield. All other debris can also be blocked with the shield. I've purchased this title, so I will tell others to experience it. However, I can't say with confidence that it was money well spent.

Neat, better than expected. Wave-fighting sword slasher.

Nice responsive controls and good tracking with a simple concept but limited play. If the devs can iron out the variable difficulty (it goes from far too easy, one globe at a time to several incoming, then back to one at a time) and give a few more weapon and tactics options then it will be worth revisiting. I can't give a neutral score so I'll give it a positive and wish the devs well.
