DiggerSim - Excavator & Heavy Equipment Simulator VR

Diggersim isn't the first VR game I've tried in which you have to drive an excavator, but I'm not going to lie and say that this one is a lot more playable than the others. Watch a snippet of gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jArL2P8zmA It may take you a few tries to master the excavator's controls, but once you get the hang of it, you'll find things work out the way you expect them to, with a bit of precision, of course. The game is currently very small, with I thought 2 different levels but, unfortunately. But I take into account that the game has only been out for 2 months and is still in early access. Although it can take some time to perform the tasks in the levels, I think it would be nice to be able to do a few more levels, with a wider driving area for example. What I found less pleasant was that the rock or sand you scoop up can partly fall off your hook very easily when moving, you can bend your hook all the way up so that nothing can fall, but 'you should be able' move without bending the hook all the way and without dropping rock or sand too quickly. On the other hand, it may seem a bit monotonous for gamers who are not into simulations, but put some city sounds as background and your favorite radio and you're off. The only thing you will miss in the game is the smell of your hot soup or coffee in your large thermos cup. Heck I can see myself opening another window in the vr image that I can watch netflix on during this game when I'm in the excavator.

Considering this is in early access the digger physics are implemented quite nice. The rocks need to get some more weight and less jumpiness. I am curious what the future will bring in this game.

Ein sehr einfach gehaltenes Bagger-Spiel, bei dem wir Steine von einem Loch ins andere befördern müssen. Die Steuerung fühlt sich halbwegs realistisch an, aber es gibt sehr wenig zu tun. I've only tested the first map, but it's pretty cool. I didn't mind at all paying to support the developer. I will say though, that if I operated one of these machines in real life, there would probably be accidental fatalities. lol.

Good game. Works fairly well. Suggestion to the developer. The VR controls respond like your trying to churn honey. Could you please make them respond instantaneously, just like the thumb-sticks? And add clicking feedback. A good example for this is VTOL VR. They did an excellent job of making VR controls for precise usage, such as shooting down airplanes with a gun. Thanks!

A very simple game but will teach the controls of the digger portion of the excavator. The new 3rd level is broken though. As soon as I lift a piece of dirt my excavator starts spinning out of control. At the current state I would not recommend this though.
