Crash land on a hostile planet where you'll have to build the strongest defenses if you wish to live to escape from it. But be warned... this planet is merciless. Build strong, and smart; else physics may flood or destroy your only hopes of survival.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A surprisingly enjoyable game! Escaping a hostile planet being the ultimate goal, it combines combat, exploration, foraging, hunting, mining and crafting and involves nightly monster raids that only escalate according to what kind of monsters the player has hunted so far. All monsters can dig through terrain, so you normally have to build an open base that funnels and cuts them down with automatic defenses as they approach you. It is easy to become overwhelmed on higher difficulties, so it is generally important to plan a bit ahead and be cautious to take control of the escalation. There are many things to like about the game, but I would especially point to a unique mechanic - the frequent and torrential downpours - which affect the game in several interesting ways. They impact vegetation growth, enemy spawns, player movement and exploration, and they require you to think about proper drainage for your bases and the paths leading up to them, for several reasons (like preserving monster pathfinding to avoid destructive behavior). The rain can also soon enough be harnessed for electricity production, and while it seems fairly simple, I've had plenty of fun figuring out the most optimal and secure hydrodam design, something that depends quite a lot on where you build it, especially relative to your base and the paths that monsters take to reach you. I've also spend a very decent amount of time both in survival and creative mode building the "ultimate", most efficient (and beautiful!) end-game defense base, one that perfectly guides the monsters towards their goal and expedites them in timely fashion. Incorporating the space rocket into the design is non-trivial, and the automatic defenses will eventually be tested on their ability to protect it entirely on their own for several minutes! It's an all-around fun challenge. (
Don't let the rocket crash into any of the floating islands! ><
) Using the recoil of certain weapons as a mobility tool is both risky and fun. There is plenty utility and uniqueness to many of the weapons that you gradually unlock, while the end-game weapons are simple but enjoyable to use. The weapon turrets also have subtle properties that are worth paying attention to (like damage type, trigger/effect range differences, knockback and visibility to monsters). A definite, weak point of the game is the somewhat glitchy monster pathfinding, which can be rather frustrating to deal with. For example, monsters tend to struggle to approach a base from below even when there are platforms, so they can easily end up carving out a massive cavern underneath as they continue their attack, and they will linger around even after the night has ended, which is a pain to deal with (and it wastes precious time). Eventually, I figured out how to shape the landscape and design my bases to take control of their erratic behaviour, and that actually ended up being kind of fun in its own way. I could speak on other aspects of the game as well, but in short, I think it is a pretty good game with fun mechanics and well thought-out progression, and maybe only one significant flaw. Recommended!

like terraria but better
This is a small simple game from an indie dev, a little rough around the edges but I could feel there was heart put into this so I recommend this game. The terraria inspiration is very tangible but it's like the dev put his own spin into it. I like the building physics and the water mechanics in this game it looks simple but there is complexity to it. One part of this I didn't like was monster mechanic variations. It's like all the monsters just shoot projectiles at you. Also, flying creatures that fly underwater is so whacky.
Dig or Die is an absolute masterclass in chaotic engineering. It mixes 2D exploration, crafting, and survival with a punishing tower defense loop where you must escape a hostile planet. Unlike standard sandbox builders, the world relies heavily on real-world physics, gravity, structural weight, and fluid dynamics dictate whether your fortress stands or collapses under its weight. Nightly monster raids grow increasingly brutal based strictly on the species you have hunted during the day. Because every creature can dig, traditional turtling is useless. Survival requires you to design open, tactical bases that intentionally funnel enemies into automated kill-zones while managing intense environmental hazards like torrential downpours. The Pros Dynamic Physics & Hydrodynamics: Heavy rain shapes the terrain, alters enemy spawns, and forces you to build complex drainage systems so water doesn't ruin enemy pathfinding or flood your base. Rewarding Automation & Engineering: Designing high-efficiency hydro dams for electricity production and building late-game bases that cleanly route monsters into automated turrets is incredibly satisfying. Controlled Escalation: The game doesn't just scale randomly; the difficulty of nightly raids accelerates based on what you choose to hunt during the day, forcing you to plan ahead. Creative Combat & Mobility: Weapons feel tight, late-game turrets have deep tactical properties (knockback, damage types, trigger ranges), and using weapon recoil as a high-risk mobility tool is surprisingly fun. Endgame Worth the Prep:
Integrating your escape rocket into your final fortress design and watching your defenses protect it completely unassisted during a massive, multi-minute final siege is immensely rewarding.
The Cons Glitchy Enemy Pathfinding: The AI frequently struggles to navigate vertical platforms from below. Instead of climbing, they tend to helplessly tunnel out massive caverns directly beneath your base. Daytime Time Sinks: Because of the pathfinding quirks, stuck enemies will often linger long after the night has ended, forcing you to waste precious daytime prep hours clearing them out. Punishing Learning Curve: The early-game difficulty spikes can be brutal, and the interface offers very minimal guidance. You will learn mostly through trial, error, and sudden death. Verdict: 8.5/10 If you enjoy games that blend high-stakes engineering, exploration, and genuine tactical consequences, this is a must-buy. It has a brilliant progression curve, and learning to shape the literal landscape to master both the physics and the erratic AI behavior is an incredibly fun challenge. Highly recommended!
上次打开还是在21年,属于是泰拉瑞亚和星界边境这种像素游戏的代餐。 现在游戏越来越丰富的情况下,已经没有打开的想法了。
Coming back to play this after many years. It is still as good as ever. Simple fantastic fun.
I remember first playing this game and being very lost. Even after having completed this twice, I just know that going back in after a long time, I will recall none of what's in the game and be stumped again.
