"Dieselpunk Wars Prologue" is an advertisement, not a game. It's advertising the game "Dieselpunk Wars", which is a dead PvP only ripoff of Robocraft but without any players because it's garbage. Guess how my review is going to go for an advertisement for a garbage dead game? Yeah. Don't download this, this advertisement is just polluting Steam. If you did decide to download this, you'd be wasting your time anyway, nobody is playing the small demo included as part of this advert, it's dead. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

The tutorial is so painfully wordy I didn't even bother trying the game. Seriously, you don't need to describe the location of things, just use a visual indicator. Also, these default controls are just... painful. Why is equals even bound to anything? We have an entire keyboard!
