Diefrosty is an unsurvival puzzle game, where your one and only goal is to kill your ice-cuby character no matter how. Intereract with many obstacles, use really dumb ways to die while melting your brain to beat each level.

It has many bad moments. Puzzles are straight forward for the most part with different and new elements coming in and sprucing up the puzzles. But alas there is not much connective tissue to make them interesting. They interact incredibly straight forward and leaves me with a bare bones puzzle experience. Most all puzzles are incredibly easy, but making a mistake means starting over from the very beginning which is tedious when these mistakes are made due to the slippery physics of the game where blocks are able to be pushed in mid air and taken to spots they aren't supposed to be taken. There are times where this plays to you advantage, whether it was intended or not, to complete puzzles and die much faster than expected. Mostly unintentional as a bit of playtesting the levels would have shown these flaws, such as the crumbling platforms that allow setups to immediately die. Sometimes you don't get crushed by the safes but crouching seems to do the trick. Some of the later levels get extremely complicated fast and making one mistake causes the entire puzzle to be unsolvable, which gives no leeway to correct, and forces you to repeat the same motions in execution, which on top of everything else, leaves a sour taste from this game. Although its visual style is great, the gameplay of having to die is great, the music got a lil bit stale, the environment made everything feel the same, it was fun, but needs to be flushed out much more.
Amei o jogo! É o segundo título que tenho desse criador e, mais uma vez, foi uma experiência super divertida. A ideia por trás do jogo é excelente e foi muito bem executada. Recomendo demais! MAS fiquei triste ao saber que não posso exibir ele no meu perfil
I mean, it's a small puzzle game, took just under 2 and a half hours to beat it all. The ending was extremely awkward and not really any sort of satisfaction upon completion. I broke around half the puzzles at least a few times. I can't really suggest this game overall. I would give it a solid middle mixed 5/10 rating but since steam is either positive or negative, it gets a very slight negative.
I love this games best 9 euros :D
o jogo não é muito, e por isso não é cansativo ou irritante. Todo o level design do jogo é muito bom e bem pensado, a fase final então... muito boa. OTIMO game
I really hate being the sour player here among the positive ones ones but my experience wasn't as fun as I initially thought it was gonna be. On the flip side, this is the first game I've played where trying to die was much more difficult than I gave it credit for. The use of different obstacles and added mechanics made for some clever solutions to how to find your own demise (in the game that is). That was accompanied by really well done pixel art, mainly for Frosty (which makes sense) and the other guy (whoever it is). Furthermore, it also has a few tracks here and there that thankfully don't become annoying over time, but weren't that memorable by the end. However, my grievances were mainly concentrated on the gameplay mainly due to one tiny yet important factor: the hitbox simply doesn't work. There were many MANY instances where I would get stuck on walls, boxes or even in mid air while I was trying to move or jump to the nearest platform. As a consequence, the game length padded unnecessarily and unpleasantly, action which was further emphasized by how towards the end some of the levels started to feel repetitive. Speaking of which, there were 3 particular ones that I have to mention after beating in a "non-intended" way because of this bug (the quotes signify how I presumed those levels were meant to be beaten though I haven't checked with a guide yet). In two of them I skipped most of the stage and let a box crush me while in the other one I suddenly died after going off screen and no other level is like that. Simply put, these resolutions felt inconsistent with the rest. Apart from that, there's not much else to add. Regarding the story it was confusing but in a dazzling way and the final level came out of nowhere taking into account what had been shown up to that point. Regardless of the negative review, this is one of those cases where the non-recommendation doesn't imply that the game itself is bad, more that I can't recommend it in its current state. At least it’s cheap enough to give it a try, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
the game itself is fine I suppose, 50 levels trying to die with some kinda difficult puzzles to it I suppose, It is a good game to get for free, just spend maybe 2 hours and you have already completed the game though, might see some speedrun opportunities here but not much to it, the reason im giving it negetive review is because sometimes this game would randomly crash for no reason at all, which just made it annoying, but the game itself is a fine I'd say 5/10 good if you get it for free
