Take the reins of power in the fictional Eastern European country of Gradnar, where you are dictator Vyslan Gatskolka, the unshakable leader and defender of the downtrodden. The fate of the nation hangs on your decisions: will you strive for democracy or plunge the country into autocracy, choose peace with your neighbors or conquer them in bloody wars?
Ruthless control or people’s freedoms—your choice, but keep your finger on the pulse: the country’s indicators (economy, loyalty, control, party, and army) must not drop to zero, or a coup will end your reign. Navigate foreign policy: forge alliances, provoke enemies, or wage war, where battles turn into tense card duels. Supply your army, strike strategically, and, upon victory, annex the conquered lands into your empire.
But power isn’t just politics. Will you be an honest ruler rejecting bribes, or succumb to temptation? Your personal account tempts you: spend on the people’s needs or pamper yourself and your family—lavish palaces, rare paintings, pedigreed horses, and countless other trappings of luxury.
