About

Dice Goblin's Den is a 2D side-scrolling Tower Defense Roguelite game where you defend your fellow Goblins from waves of "heroes" who have been given quests at the local tavern to pillage and loot your home! Grow your goblin den and strengthen your economy by journeying to different levels to gather more resources while fending off your enemies!

Unlock new classes to play when you defeat each enemy party leader! Each class has its own abilities that can alter your tactics and benefit your goblins in a unique way!

Defend yourself from enemy forces who are quested with the task of raiding your party and looting your corpses!

Gather resources and manage your own economy, but be wary of the balance of allocating them between combat and worker units. It can be dangerous to spend too many resources hiring workers instead of combat units to defend your goblin den, but sometimes being greedy pays off!

Gain resources passively each day by hiring workers and allocating them to gather whichever specific resources you think will best serve your goblin den!

Upgrade your goblins by way of spells, abilities, and attributes at the cost of resources! But be careful not to put all of your dice in one basket! Goblins together strong!

It wouldn't be very dicey without all the uncertainty of a Roguelite, now would it?! Play with randomized levels, enemies, loot, and upgrades! Every playthrough is its own unique experience, and it's up to you to beat the odds by adapting to what luck throws your way, choosing the best rewards for the occasion, and employing clever strategies. But be careful! Defeat will set you right back to the drawing board!
Coming soon to a Goblin Den near you!

This game has shown me the struggles of goblins, and just how unfair we've treated them for so long! You are trying to make your way in the world and all these jerks just wanna get ya. Build up your defenses, upgrade your units, get better items, and show the world that goblin's have what it takes to be on top! Very fun game, with a lot of good humor that got me cracking up during my fights. The units are interesting, diverse, and rewarding. I'd recommend it to anyone.
This game has come a long way since I played the demo 5 - 6 months ago. There's a lot more info available in-game to help you experiment with different strategies. Definitely try the tutorial if it's your first time playing. It will give you a nice little peek into some of the different systems that may not stand out immediately (don't sleep on scaffolds!)
An incredibly unique take on tower defense. The developer clearly put a lot of thought into the systems and mechanics. After just a few hours, I am overwhelmed with the amount of depth. And just when you think you've got a good grasp, their are other classes, a perk system, and party buffs to unlock as your progress. The unit design is very cool. Both their artwork, abilities, and general game design is stellar. There are some kinks here and there, but if this is the game's first release, I am beyond looking forward to it's future. There is already clear replay-ability. I'm hooked! Great job, "Baba"!
Ever wanted to know what it was like to be one of the goblin tribes that a group of D&D adventurers wander upon and utterly destroy? Well, baby, look no further. Retro feeling graphics and gameplay bringing the best of the early-age tower defense games to the modern age with tongue-in-cheek humor and mechanics. The difficulty swing is real - even the developer notes warn you up front - "Fail Fast" - burn that into your mind. Randomized mechanics can and will bully you, gatekeep necessary upgrades from you, and overwhelm you at any time, even the best prepared goblins can be mopped up in a wave. Life's hard for Goblins - I guess 10/10 for immersion for that. Tips: - Do the tutorial, it does a good job of giving you the strongest early game advice. - Unit placement matters hard - Flying units are @$$h0le$ - Have Fun
- Beautiful retro graphics. - Music that's both soothing and action-oriented at the same time (think Donkey Kong). - Fun and engaging gameplay (nothing at all like Donkey Kong). It's sort of like a tower defense/base builder. This game needs to win awards! It's my new happy place!! Play it!!!
very fun game with a cute art style, I got my ass beat the first few tries but once you get the hang of its there's some depth to explore
First off, I want to say that this game is so much fun! The graphics are very retro and it makes for a chill vibe that's very enjoyable. But that is in no way an indication that this is a simple easy game. There is a lot of strategy involved and the gameplay can be quite challenging at times. That is in no way a criticism. The challenging aspect is my favorite part of this game. It requires you to really plan how you're going to survive round after round. One round may go exactly as planned but the next will throw something new at you that requires you to completely rethink how you're going to keep surviving. This isn't a mindless walk in the park by any means. I TOTALLY recommend this game and hope you enjoy it as much as me!
Very cute art style, a lot of fun. I'd recommend it for people who are 'really' into these types of games, tower defense and such. My only real issue is a little hard for people who are either new to the genre or not very good at it to begin with, but I love watching all the animations and the goblins do their thing.
