I thank you for reaching me to check on this game. I can say it's a very underrated game that had the misfortune of clashing with mewgenics. But don't get me wrong! This game IS a really good game! The ambience is interesting, the dialogues are fun, the characters are amazing and lovely in their own way, the mechanics are very fun and the ability to created broken characters is delightful. And the cherry on top, by far, is the amazing OST that makes every moment very memorable. If you get the chance to give this game a try, try it. You'll be there for a while and Neo-Talis will welcome you with open arms.
This game is exactly what i love about smaller indie games. Interesting, innovative, but with a familiarity to turn based classics. There is a ton of room for interesting character builds and tactics, plus the game has such an interesting sense of style. I love to support games like this and if you like tactical turn based games with an open ended character building you'll probably love it too.
Loved the game, Very fun turn-based combat. the actions you take each turn are based on what dice you roll. You can either deal with the dice you rolled or risk rerolling into something worse. Good decision making mechanic makes it lots of fun. The character building/classes/level up system isn't the most intuitive and the explainers are just plain bad. But once you get it, it's very fun and engaging. Even if the skills each character gets are a little randomized, it makes the game fun because you get to have multiple characters of the same class having completely different strengths and weaknesses. My only issue with the game is that it's too short and you get forced to move from one Act to the next without much time to maximize relations with the different characters in the game, or explore other classes and level up, or "create" more playable characters. Looking forward to what the developers make next!
This game is pretty dope, even after beating it I got 38 more hours out of it. I highly recommend this game to those who like darkest dungeons.
Underrated game. Awesome gameplay, incredible character building, fun writing, impeccable art. The standout hero of this game is the amazing art style and insanely polished visuals.
Amazing art style, very pleasant OST, decent gameplay loop although not without its flaws. Story so far feels explored just well enough for me to keep it in mind, though I would like some sort of dialogue log since its very easy to accidentally skip dialogue with the fast forward. Character designs are very great and the character customizer is very nice to play with. The nobles and their in-combat models are also very good. Performance is good too, haven't really found many game breaking bugs and the ones I did encounter weren't substantial. As for content and replayability, this is where the game falls kind of short, with how short the story of the game is and how little time there is in-between act concluding fights + the game not being too difficult, you end up getting through the game pretty quick , long before you come even remotely close to maxing out even one relationship with any of the nobles, let alone maxing out all of them. The gameplay variety is also lacking, while early on most fights are intriguing, in later acts you end up just playing the same maps with the same enemies from act 1 over and over, making it kind of repetitive. This is made even worse by there not being many classes worth playing or multiclassing into, additionally, all of the classes are unlocked only when reaching a certain level of relation with the nobles and once you beat the game and move onto new game+, despite ng+ allowing you to play with your old family, ng+ resets your relationship statuses with all nobles meaning youll almost never actually max them all out without doing seperate runs for each one. New game+ is also not really any more difficult than standard. All in all, the game is good enough to be fun, but it can get repetitive. I recommend finishing the demo and then deciding whether the gameplay is good enough to be worth sinking another 2 acts into, if so, the game is worth getting.
Всей семьей оценили ;D
not fun, good character customization, reddit humor, boring enemies, cool music not worth the price tho for sure unless you are really really autistic about turn-based games
