I mean its free so give it a try???

"Dev Guy" is a badly made collection of crappy amateur minigames with a lame "adventure game" wrapper around it. One thing it does get right is the backing narrative... the majority of amateur "indie" devs, from my experience with over 14,000 shovelware reviews on Steam, steal the work of others and just slap their own name on top so they can pretend to be real developers despite being so talentless they could never get a real job in the industry. Ironically I don't think this is an asset flip... the quality of the game assets, minigames and so on is far too low for any genuine asset creator to ever publish. The idea is that you're an amateur developer who can't get a real job and can't write games properly but you desperately want to call yourself a game developer, so you rip off the work of others, play a few minigames, and be real thankful the whole thing lasts less than 2 hours. But Valve can't refund you the time of your life wasted playing poor quality games, trust me, I know. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
