This has officially taken the top spot in my "best gameplay experience" game, which was Hypnospace Outlaw. The puzzle design in this game was so tight that even after the most difficult ones, I could not once complain that they were bad puzzles. All the characters felt real, the atmosphere was immaculate and I genuinely felt unsettled at times, Which is excellent. I can't give more detailed thoughts without spoiling the game, go play it!
There is so much love put into this game, Its like a windows detective game from the 90's-2000's. You explore an old PC figuring out what happened to the previous users. You need to use your critical thinking skills to continue through each puzzle. When they say "think outside the box" you need to REALLY think outside the box. You compress files, change .file names, and even need to explore the "about" and "help" sections of windows to continue. There are easter eggs in here with call backs to memes and classic 90's and 2000's internet culture. I wish everyone could experience this game!
хорошая игрушка прикольная мне понравилась
has made me go "oh noooooooo" out loud at least five times. huge fan
Great game with some challenging puzzles. Fantastic ambiance and remediation. I'm looking forward to exploring the game more.
really really good puzzle game, some of the puzzles seemed undoable at first until I looked at them from a different angle, overall sincerely great stuff 9/10, will definitely 100% at some point (I'll leave a more complete review after finishing the game probably, but I got stuck on the chess puzzle and it seems well and truly impossible to progress)
This game is good. It runs great, looks great, and sounds great. It’s immersive, and you don’t notice the hours passing while you play. There are many different puzzles, and it’s fun to explore while using your PC knowledge to help solve them. There’s no shame in looking for hints from the community if you get stuck, as some of the puzzles can be quite challenging. It reminds me a bit of Hypnospace Outlaw, but with more focus on mystery, and it’s easier to get into. I often felt lost in Hypnospace, but this game feels more contained and approachable. I will continue this review once I have completed the game.

Haven't even finished the game at the time of writing this and i already consider this to be one of the best puzzle games i have ever played! Would highly recommend! edit: After finishing the game i can thoroughly say i would recommend this game to everyone! Having played the demo in the past (which consists of the initial section of puzzles) i was honestly surprised with how the game created even more puzzles without suffering from repetition. The story is well thought out and emotional, and the puzzles (for me) were a perfect balance between difficult enough to make me pause and not too hard i couldn't progress.
A bit of a work-out in terms of brain usage but very, VERY well made! I've been streaming it with a few friends and it's an absolute TREAT with buddies! Collaborating with them on puzzles and mutually experiencing the game has been one of the most fun things yet :] I highly recommend, and, though certainly I've only beaten the first third of the game, Desktop Explorer is showing some very, VERY interesting gameplay mechanics! Go play it!
